It's the near future. Genetic engineering has progressed significantly. Pokémon (or at least, one Pokémon) walk among us. They can talk. And they're fighting crime. Sorta.
READ FIRST:
Players aged 16+ are preferred. If you're a year or so younger than that and feel you're more mature than average, we can discuss things, but there will be extra limits set on RP to keep everyone comfortable regarding the age gap.
This is a multi-paragraph RP. If you feel you can't maintain a pace of about 2 paragraphs average per post, this might not be for you. Also, expect long posts from me early on - don't feel obligated to keep up with them and don't expect them to persist throughout; it'd be mostly due to me setting the scene.
Reminders. If we agree to RP and start discussing the scenario in detail and I don't hear back from you for a week, I will drop a reminder. So I just put together a bunch of Pokémon OCs and I want to test one of them out, and I came up with this idea (mildly influenced by Detective Pikachu, naturally). In particular, I want to use Inferno, my Scorbunny OC (because Scorbunny is all the rage right now).
This RP'll be set in the real world where illegal genetic engineering has resulted in at least one Pokémon being created (Maybe more... might work well with some as bad guys depending on how things develop).
We can work out details as we go along, but what I'm looking for is either a human or another Pokemon to join forces with Inferno as he
1x1.
Some magic. Few can use it, but most of the players probably won't have it. Magical characters will likely believe that they are all alone.
Near future, perhaps cloning and genetic manipulation
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
No romance at all will be included in this plot, period.
Details: Freeform, paragraphs required, long-term RP partner preferred. Will be played one-on-one.

Do you have a character prepared for this scenario?
Hey. I'm interested in this idea. I have a human character who I think would work well for it.
I was actually thinking of another Pokémon. I don’t have any Pokémon characters made up, already.
