(Theme/setting: sci-fi cold western based on post-climate change Antarctica.)
Antarctica: The only place where the nukes, megastorms and nanorot (a disease propagated through weaponized nanobots) didn't hit, although fallout appears from time to time. The few arable lands are fought over by colonies of the old Earth, geodesic domes filled with refugees using 3d-printed weaponry made with irreplaceable industrial plants brought over from the old world.
The cold wasteland is a dangerous place: whole armies of rogue robots which carry valuable circuitry and power sources, lone scientists developing forbidden nanotechnology, former military prisons taken over by the inmates, ecological cults bombing those which use advanced technology and even a couple of United Nations AIs which went crazy after their failure in keeping the world safe.
What road will you take in this new world?
(As far as player count, we can have as many people as we want, at which point it may diverge from me GM'ing into sort of a free form thing for players to have their own adventures. I'd like for people to have stats for their characters as I want to use dice rolls occasionally. I'll come up with stats and sheets in that regard for people to fill out if we get enough interested players, probably gonna use GURPS.)

On very, very, rare occasions there may be unexplained, POSSIBLY supernatural events. Minor "environmental" magic. Perhaps implies the existence of a deity or supernatural entity. Or perhaps it's just tricks?
Far future, perhaps interstellar travel (generation ships)
Wartime/soldier RPs. Combat is a given and will likely be graphic, but there's the potential for non-combat "in the trenches" scenes. World War 2, Vietnam, etc.
Details: Occasional dice use, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.
