I hope you all don't mind but I'll introduce myself in the form of a Q&A;
What is your favorite kind of RP?
My favourite RP is a hard one, as I've done a varied few in the past, however the ones that stuck with me the most have almost always been fantasy adventure and romance based, especially lesbian stories.
What do you hope to find here?
Friends, companions, stories that will stick with us for years to come and tales that will brighten our lives, maybe even a book would be fun
How long have you been RPing?
At least fifteen years, I started back on Hiddenworld (now mostly dead) from there I took my first big step into roleplay with Hothcharm school for magical girls, a fun lesbian based roleplay in a magical school scenario, then moved to Sapphis, a more fantasy adventure based lesbian roleplay, my next step was to Jardin academy, another fantasy based school roleplay, after that I built my own roleplay Forum called Alvina in 2011, diving full into fantasy adventure stories until it's shutdown in 2018.
Do you have any pets?
I'm a major dog person and have three dogs of my own, I also have two pet lizards, one pet turtle, eight fish, one snake and a goat
What's your favorite subject in school?
English as I love to write. (Although sometimes I forget my grammar) and PE
What do you do for a living?
I work close personal protection for six months of the year and spend the rest of my time working on my family farm
Do you want to roleplay?
Hell yeah I do! If anyone thinks that they'll enjoy roleplaying with my characters please feel free to send me a message, I'll say yes to most and I look forward to making many new friends.

Some couple helpful pieces of information!
One, Characters. I recommend you put enough detail into things so every one who wants to RP with you is satisfied by the amount of information!
Two, rules. I recommend you make rules for yourself and partners. You don’t have to be rude about them but it’s a good idea to put your foot down and say what you will do and what you won’t do, or what you like and how you want your partner to treat you! This should be fun for both of ya!
Three, don’t be nervous to talk to people!! You may miss out on that RP you really wanted to do, or that person you wanted to chat with!! Don’t do that to yourself, everyone I’ve met is so kind and sweet that I felt dumb for being nervous!
And four, be kind. I know I praise this place like my god but there can be some nasty people on here... and when that happens, it ruins everyone’s fun. We all can’t see eye to eye but it doesn’t mean we can’t try now right? Be kind and treat people with respect, you never know what they may be going through.

You have so many pets, I'm jealous! I really miss having pets but I'm stuck in a dorm. Also, you have quite the history with RP. I used to bounce from forum to forum until I settled here, I even had my own forum just like you. It's amazing you kept it running for so long!

Thanks for the warm welcome, I do look forward to becoming a part of this community that has been built, I admit I've lately felt almost like an RP refugee searching for somewhere like here that I can plant my creative roots and start to build my characters stories again.
Would you mind looking my first character here over and seeing if she's satisfactory, I tried to give her as much details as I could whilst also showing where her first step out of the door takes place. If you do then thanks in advance if not I still look forward getting to know you.

It wasn't easy keeping it alive for so long, I ended up getting disheartened towards the end too as my community there had whittled down from close to seventy active to only five by the end, then proboards stepped in and erased everything due to 18+ content, it was a saddening blow to end it on.

It doesn't! I'll never understand why, but to be honest I'm not sure a lizard or even a fish would be very happy in my room. Whoever manages the heating here is out of their mind, there's snow on the ground but I've been overheating so much I had to open the window and turn on my fan.
I believe I tried out both proboards and another host like freeforums or something, can't really remember the name. I shut down for similar reasons. The restriction on 18+ content didn't effect us much but and I'm pretty sure that's why I switched hosts. Unfortunately, the second one was a real pain about mature content even though their TOU was less restrictive. We didn't have a lot of mature content. I can't say much about what people did in PMs but the public boards were about as E-rated as it gets, even during combat. Since the community consisted of my friend group (and friends of friends), we dissolved after the policy proved to be too much of a hassle. I swear someone moderating the second host site didn't like us...
