MasterWinter

Hello all, Winter here.

Thought to give this a try, after re-finding an old post of mine on FB. Not sure if this has been done before or not, but I thought why not give it a go?

Just for fun let's see if you can get this. I know the answer already. This is from waaaay back when, and not many probably have seen this. You CANNOT look it up online. You must use your mind & see if you know the song title and the movie it's from from your head ONLY!

However. Since I cannot know in any way shape or form if you are looking it up online or not, I won't hold it against you. I just would like it if people tried to guess, before looking it up online. Once someone put's the correct answer, someone else can post a new set of lyrics. One set of lyrics at a time, please.

You can link people to the lyrics, if you can find a way to hide where the song comes from, or do like me and copy/paste them into a collapse tab.

Edit: Please be careful and make certain that song lyrics fall into the RPR guidelines.

Song Lyrics
Is the girl you left behind out there tonight romancin'?
Makin' eyes at someone else and singin', is she dancin'?
Only the girl you left behind is real when you're sleepin'
Puts the teardrops in your eyes from secrets she is keepin'
Happy just playin' a tune and dance the whole night away
Hope the girl you left behind will be there for you someday
Lonely is the wind that blows, you know you'll always miss her
Lonely is a lover's heart, if only you could
Kiss her, kiss her, kiss her

All the girls you left behind could fill up California
Please don't leave them too darn long, I think I oughtta warn ya
Absence makes the heart go cold and makes a heart to wander
If you stay there by their sides, you'll feel their hearts grow fonder

Men:
Hope you see her someday
Hope I find my way
Back to the girl I left behind

Women & (Men):
So tell me you will never roam
(We swear we won't go roaming)
You'll be by your fireside
(We'll all be home sweet home and kiss her, kiss her, kiss her)

Woman:
So where's the girl you left behind?

Men:
She's waitin' for her sister
We won't stop until we're home we'll hug and hug and kiss her
I'll find the girl
I'll find the girl
I'll find the girl
I'll find the girl

ALL:
You'll (I'll) find the girl
You'll (I'll) find the girl you (I) left behind
Tonight! Tonight! Tonight!

Hah! This one was too easy! I had young kids when Fievel Goes West came out, and the VHS tape got played relentlessly! Haven't watched it in a good number of years though but remembered the mouse's saloon song and dance. Thanks for the cool memories!

My turn - some lyrics...
Well, the morning was complete
Where there was tears on the steering wheel, dripping on the seat
Several hours or several weeks
I'd have the cheek to say they're equally as bleak
It's the beginning of the end
The car went up the hill and disappeared around the bend
Ask anyone, they'll tell you that
It's these times that it tends
To start to breaking up, to start to fall apart
Hold on to your heart

And do me a favor, will you break my nose
And do me a favor, and tell me to go away
Oh, do me a favor, stop asking questions

Well she walked away while her shoes were untied
When the eyes were all red
You could see that we'd cried
And I watched, and I waited till she was inside
Forcing a smile and waving goodbye

Curiosity becomes a heavy load
Too heavy to hold, too heavy to hold
Curiosity becomes a heavy load
Too heavy to hold, will force you to be cold

And do me a favor, and ask, if you need some help
She said, do me a favor, and stop flattering yourself
And to tear apart the ties that bind
Perhaps 'fuck off' might be too kind
Perhaps 'fuck off' might be too kind

I was trying not to be too retro for the younger folk's sake. ;)

You Sir, are the only one who got it, as no one on my FB list did. Kudos to you!))
