Hello everyone, I am hiddenshifter0425, you can just call me hidden. I have been roleplaying for almost five years now, but have just come to this website due to certain changes in my old one. I am male, and don't really have a huge amount of characters that I stick with, often changing them based on the roleplay. The main question that I have about this website is about how mature things are handled. It was stated that public things must stay PG-13, how do you make a private thread, for those that go above it? Sorry if this is a foolish question answered somewhere in the beginners guide, that I may have just over looked, but I want to know.

Been RPing for years and I would never change that! And this is one of the best of the best.
Some couple helpful pieces of information!
One, Characters. I recommend you put enough detail into things so every one who wants to RP with you is satisfied by the amount of information!
Two, rules. I recommend you make rules for yourself and partners. You don’t have to be rude about them but it’s a good idea to put your foot down and say what you will do and what you won’t do, or what you like and how you want your partner to treat you! This should be fun for both of ya!
Three, don’t be nervous to talk to people!! You may miss out on that RP you really wanted to do, or that person you wanted to chat with!! Don’t do that to yourself, everyone I’ve met is so kind and sweet that I felt dumb for being nervous!
And four, be kind. I know I praise this place like my god but there can be some nasty people on here... and when that happens, it ruins everyone’s fun. We all can’t see eye to eye but it doesn’t mean we can’t try now right? Be kind and treat people with respect, you never know what they may be going through.

Hi and welcome to RPR for mature content you can request it in the adult only forum section, but they ask you keep it in private chats or off site as all the forums technically need to remain PG 13

I tend to find so long as you and the person you are roleplaying with are aware and have agreed upon the content and keep it to private chat then you should be fine, so long as its within lawful boundries i.e. nothing underage.

If you're over 18, you'll be allowed on the adult forums I think. Idk if its just made available to you or what

Welcome to RPR! The main site including the adult forums are PG-13. You can't RP on the adult's only forum, you can only advertise for rp. The way to get a private chat going is to send the person a PM, you do this by hitting the Inbox button underneath your user name at the top of the screen, then hitting the compose button on the right hand side. You just need to know the username or character name of the person you want to PM, and then then send them the message! It will be private between just the people in the message. The PM's can also open to a real time chat, making it as easy to RP on them as it is in the forums. Hope this helps!
