Is it possible to arrange the characters on your dashboard in A-Z format? I noticed when I had fewer characters they were in order but as I started to make more they got out of order!
The name is a bit misleading--the "Sorting" that page is meant for is to sort them into different categories. The actual A-Z sorting system offered on the page is just to make finding characters easier while you put them in categories. It doesn't affect your dashboard at all.

Although I thought the dashboard WAS already automatically alphabetical... Although--I suspect Epic Character Slots might be grouped all to the bottom or top of the dashboard to make them more obvious.
I think the dashboard sorts characters by the time you edited them last. But if you click on the 'see all of your characters' either there or on your own profile, they will appear in alphabetical order.

^^ This. If you have more characters than can display at once on the dashboard, it starts to sort them by how recently you worked on them. This is to avoid a situation where your latest and most favoritest character has a "Z" name but it always takes more clicks to get back to working on them.

How this works will very likely change in 2.0 since so many people find it confusing or frustrating, but for now, this is how it works.

That makes sense! I never noticed before. :o Thanks for the clarification!
