hey guys!
does anyone have any tips on navigating the site? it's confusing for a newbie

Welcome to RPR! My name’s Five and I’m just dropping by to tell you that you’re gonna have so much fun here!! Everyone here is so nice and welcoming, it’s amazing. I hope you have a great time! If you want to chat or rp, don’t be shy to message me!!

As for navigating, the forums work simply! They're labeled with specific names such as "Looking for RP" or "Forum Games" which should give you an idea of what you're gonna find in that forum!

For navigating profiles, under a person's picture there's different options of things you can do.


Sending someone a message will send it to their inbox! When you receive a message in your inbox, it will display a little letter and the text '1 new message'. When you click on the message, you'll see what the person sent and you'll be able to reply from yourself or one of your characters. This also applies to forums!

Editing your profile can be confusing, but you can edit it from your dashboard or by clicking on your name! Here you can find the link to BBcode tips, which will help you customize your profile so it's perfect for you!

Your characters are located on your dashboard - I think that's the biggest confusion most newbies have.

Please let us know if you have any specific questions we can help with! Otherwise we're just directing you around randomly.

I agree with Kim (who made all this!) that finding the character profile stuff was a bit confusing. But I think the real confusion that became one of my favorite things is that you can post AS a character!

I love the "played by" feature of this site!

I'd like to go ahead and mention that the Help documentation here is pretty great. It's remarkably easy to understand, and can probably help with a lot. (Not everything is linked to - some pages need a search to find.) And there's something missing, or you're just not sure how to find it, folks are always happy to help with more specific questions.
