I have a teenaged kiddo. She roleplays and games and has a tight little circle of friends.

They call me Mrs. Mom.

They know if they are gonna share something that is endangering themselves (self harm, abusive relationships, etc) that my daughter will be telling me. They trust her. They trust me.

They also know I might hop in Minecraft or Overwatch and make them laugh.

I hover over my girl's shoulder and invade her Skype calls and hear them holler through her headset, "Hiya, Mrs. Mom!"

It is a name I cherish and hold dear.

Do you have a nickname you cherish?

"Gunns" it was given to me by my best friend as a child. She made my life a lot better in a time it wasnt all that great. I cherish this nickname because it reminds me of her and those times

Princess Sprinkles.

As weird as it sounds, it's not going to be a name I'll ever forget. I only allow people I hold dear to call me by it, otherwise it annoys me beyond belief. It started as my dad began calling me sprinkles. We don't know why, it was just something that started. Then my friends heard him call me it once, so they started to.

It developed into Princess Sprinkles because my real name, Sarah, means princess. So...
My best friend calls me 'puddin' pop' frequently and I adore her. 💕

That's awesome. Sometimes we can get lost in the memories and name-calling that was meant unkindly. Having a happy memory instead, especially during hard times is a beautiful gift.

Funny how from some folks a name is a delight and from others its just annoying, even if they don't mean to be.

I was known as ‘Wolfie’ amongst my circle of friends in jr high and high school. It was a play on my last name and developed in the last years of elementary school. Initially it was to bug me but I actually liked it so it stuck.

As a lover of the fantasy genre and such, it is a pretty cool nickname to have!

My best friend calls me “Pinkie Pie.” She’s Fluttershy.

Another really good friend has called me V since middle school. Still does when I see her.
I cherish "Auntie Syl", something my sister in law's kids call me and "Princess" as my fiancé calls me that ^w^

My man calls me "wife". I love it.

Man - Wife?

Me - Yes, husband?

Man - I want some coffee.

Me - Then you should make some.

Man- *mournful look* Wife?

Me - Yes, husband.

Man - Please?

And then I make him coffee and I get coffee kisses as a thank you. Yummy.
I adore it when people call me Wakie :)

I like it when people refer to me as "Wake" in general, although sometimes my friends will call me Wakie and I dunno, I just feel really fuzzy when they do. I think it's cute, even if it's just adding the letter 'i' in it haha.

It might be because when they do call me Wakie, it's always after I've done something 'right'? It's like their way of assuring me that I'm doing a good thing, I suppose. And I find that nice :)

Belmont don't ask why
Peanut was my nickname when I was little because I was the youngest of three.

Now, my name is momma just to confuse the heck out of people when my mom calls me it and pretends that I am her mom. xD
