Check out the "share your poetry" in the arts and creativity forum. There are some outstanding poets in RPRepository.
Unless the authors of the poems are going to be paid for the use of their poetry in the book and/or sent a copy - not just credited, this doesn't seem like such a good idea but regardless, I'd prefer if you didn't go to afformentioned thread and message the posters in it asking to use their poetry in the book. I'd rather my thread not have been offered up at all and would really appreciate if you respected that. ^-^

That was a bit an extreme reaction for simply pointing out the existence of a thread and giving praise to people who have shared poetry in it.

I have no problem with my thread being mentioned as praise for the lovely poets in it. I never said otherwise.
I don't think it's extreme to not want the thread mentioned but more so used in this threads specific context based on what the poster is asking for. I'm not comfortable with it. I was polite and calm in my mention of this to the poster, Naysayer, as I was not speaking to SSAB in any part of my post. Hence not quoting her because I am not upset with her or anything of the sort. In fact the beginning of my post was something I had planned on saying before the thread was even mentioned.

I’m not going to be publishing this book it’s going to a Community based book on wattpad
I for one really like this idea and if you can give me a general theme to work with I would love to collaborate. I also have a wattpad and regularly look into people to collab stories with.

Good to know - you should definitely make sure this is in your main post! Along with the theme you're thinking for the poetry book, ie what tone you want it to have
As opposed to smashing every kind of poem together, like if you plan on having sections for poems about love, another section about death or sadness, another for just haiku's.
