Do you have a certain itch you want to scratch plot-wise?
So far, I am sure only that my character will at some point notice your boy/girl.
But as he is considered a semi-god, I believe we have to construct the vague idea of the settings.
For example, where and when the play is taking place? What year? Do we play alternative dimensions or the good old Earth as we know it? (:
Also, I like graphics in the posts - so, I might be creating some stuff on Photoshop to go along with the RP. I hope you do not mind my...picky side. Hehe. (:

I would be a fool to not expect it, so please, go right ahead and work your magic with your Photoshop.
So long as you understand that I provide music to help drive the emotional state of my posts, whether you choose to listen to it or not is on you, it will not harm me, nor bother me if you don't.
Settings are complicated, I prefer choosing my worthy character first, since they are products of their environment, coming with a deck of cards that naturally forms their settings and plots based on their history.
However, I will refrain. {;
We can craft the setting first, but I will be picky, there are plenty of ideas that run with my characters, so what you and I pick will ultimately decide the character I choose. I cannot place a character in an environment that did not make them who they are, seems a but silly.
Lets make the plots first, then we can place the setting based on the plot, playing around with our options.
I will write out my ideas on a separate file to keep them safe and edit them if needed. I will post them in soon.

Well. The thing is, my character has the memory erasure power. The initial idea was that he can void one off of pleasant/unpleasant memories but, somewhat, he himself cannot use that power on himself.
If, say, we pick the good old Earth - I can only think of him being a psychologists. The idea of erasing step by step, little by little, troublesome memories of his patients...it kind of lingers in my mind. Until one day, they do not even have the memory of ever going to him, of ever meeting him. Which...hm, I suspect will trigger on a subconscious level his desire to be remembered?

Though, I want to ask, how aware would you like my character.
The one I have my eyes set on, I can see getting drugs.

Cognitively speaking? Hah, this is a very interesting question.
How messed up can you make them? As in, skill-wise.
Because, if you are to play someone very disturbing, it is not going to put me off. I have no problem at all. However, it will be more like - putting to test your own RP skills but at the same time testing mine, ahaha.
If you make them into someone who is not only suffering some trauma/mental disorder but also fighting drug addiction...Add to it murder. I wanted in the plot a partner who can describe the effect of having killed someone in the past. Whether you will play Sigmund's defense mechanism to cope or not - up to you.
But...cutting it down to purely preferences - anything is fine as long as you don't use regression as a defense mechanism. I am not sure how I will play with regression (not up to deal with a childish behavior which goes down to being reverted back to the age of 5, per se). So, in regard of cognitive awareness - surprise me. (:

Other than that, even if he was to find your character taking drugs when already had visited him. Thinking on it, he would rather bother only when he has sessions with them but outside the office/home - why bother?

Maybe I am rushing through it too much and I miss probable openings for a different first encounter, but hey, just an opinion.

Actually, you do me a favor of playing a human - if they were something else, the gap between them might not be that big. Age-wise, experience-wise, perspective-wise. So, it might be actually a leveled up version of the RP, if it weren't with a human.

So, what do we have so far:
Summarized Plot: A semi-god arrives to planet Earth approximately 200 years ago. Due to his powers and the depth of his knowledge of the mind, he goes after occupation that can possibly hide who he is - a psychologist.
One day he receives several folders, describing an interesting case which is to be appointed to him.
On the day when he has to meet his new patient, he is not surprised to see the state of the human that walks in through his office door, apparent to have abused drugs in the last 24 hours.

It enables you with opportunities to expand your reply. I did not want to have it set one-two weeks prior or minutes before he walked in the office. However, if you want time change in the plot - I will change it.
In fact, if you want any changes in future - I will comply.
