Woo! Unlocked the middle clue!

Hey! Animals!

There are animals in both 'Raiders of the Lost Labyrinth' and 'Discoveries and Crystals'. In the first - a snake, a bird, a dragon, and a whale. In the second, I've seen a squirrel, a bat, a cat, and a monkey.

I'm going to continue to try and generate guesses for this, but because we're getting into the really tough waves of enemies, only actually try putting in answers in the latter parts of the hours - say, from :50 to just before rollover! That'll give people as much time as possible to put in hats and weapons on the collection nodes.

Okay, so, back to the videos...

In the second video, right after the Princess says to "watch your step", the Knight blows a hole in the floor shaped like a cat.

Watch your step - it's a QR code that says yb oi ko ac pl io

an anagram?

The monkey appears right after the Princess does some sweet backflips.

It was enciphered using the Playfair cipher! That one was for Puzzle7.

'Seeking protection', though, hrm. Maybe the bat; it's encircled in a thing of lasers. Or the squirrel, who's guarding the keyhole to the room they're in.

I see a unicorn or horse on the bricks as she does a backflip?

We know about all the animals within the walls and videos, so far I think. However, I'm curious about how many things we would need to list or how to solve this one. I'm so stumped on how one would make a guess for this or what it's directly asking for?

I'm pretty sure it's asking for a list of animals, similar to the one that was on one of the previous obelisks.

But I just tried variations on 'cat bat monkey fish unicorn' and above, and didn't get anything yet. Hrrm.

Oh, right - there's also fish in the footage of the city/portal complex being sunk into the sea.

I just see

"watch your step" then cat.

Backflips then horse/unicorn and monkey

and I guess I couldn't see anything else except there seems to be a rock in the shame of a human head as the pillar breaks, but that might be a stretch. Doesn't exactly relate to 'even numbered animals' though.

Hrrrm. I wonder if I should've tried arranging all six animals. I only used five!

Out of curiosity have the squirrel and the bat come up elsewhere before?

Squirrel where the lock is turned.

Bat has two eye streaks leading up to it. Might be a stretch too but was thinking two streaks = even number.
