It is a story of a lycan whom was cast out by his pack as he got older because he had abilities they did not so longs to create his own pack free of judgement anyone's allowed to be as they are and join him in his field he now called home close to a forest he never really explored he is also in search of a life long mate he can make a family with if he were that lucky most just see him as an odd ball who shouldn't be
Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Modern
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
