Hello, again.

I’m not sure if this is the right forum to post this in, but I need a bigger area to store my characters. I mean, I love RPR’s character creator, but with only ten slots and no money to purchase any more room, I need to find another site to store the extras, though I’ll add a link to them on my page and write them up in full detail. Any suggestions on sites like this?

What I've been doing nowadays is putting my worldbuilding stuff on my own personal Fandom Wiki. Best idea I've ever had.
I've heard of, wassit, Toyhouse or something? But I think you need and invite to use it...

If you want overkill, World Anvil has character pages.

Sometimes folks will have group profiles, like a family that shares a single profile, or my Misc profile which is basically a mixture of characters I don't know what to do with and characters I'm trying out before committing to a profile. Mostly I just don't know what to do with them.

There's a handful of character building apps available to smartphones (at least for Androids), but they aren't very shareable, and some of them store the files in weird, messy ways.

You could use Google Docs or something. Can still link people in, can still make them pretty if you feel up to spending time formatting, but people will be able to see whatever name you associated with your Google account. (Not just email, and actual name.)

You could also enter contests to try winning extra slots. :) There's still the Mascot contest going, and people sporadically do raffles where cloaks (1 permanent profile slot) are commonly given out. You could also offer folks a trade, if you have a tradeable skill to offer someone for buying you a cloak or dragon tooth or even some epicness. Skills that tend to go well are art (mostly characters and assorted adopts), design (like character mood boards or coming up with neat BBCode tricks, or writing up fancy descriptions of special items or places, or even just being pretty good with a particular dollmaker tool), or other services you might be able to offer your fellow RPers. :)

Thank you both for the suggestions. 😊 This really is a great community, you know; always eager to help, always polite, never getting mad at my ridiculous questions (maybe). Thanks again! Any other suggestions would also be nice, too, so I’ll keep this going for a bit if anyone else has any ideas.

You can always mess around with WORD. It has features that allow you to design any profile you need for a character.
Notebook.ai is a great place to store information of ANY kind. They support characters, worlds, locations, items, even languages and stuff. It's fairly customizable even without a membership, and nothing has to be public.

If you're interested in Toyhouse, I can get you a code. It's fairly customizable but you need a membership to do any fancy coding. Also, Toyhouse is heavily geared towards the adoptables community so the site is set up for buying, selling, and trading rather than storing characters for RP purposes. The profiles still work for RP characters, just don't be surprised when you have to indicate whether or not your character is for sale.

I've also found that people on Toyhouse can be... Rather picky about how you interact with them. I've upset a few people just by favoriting a character of theirs. Apparently the characters were part of a closed species and by favoriting them, I indicated that I was going to steal them? I don't know. If you're as clueless about "closed species" as I am, my only advice is to tread lightly. x.x
