Ok! So yesterday I proposed a D&D game, and I looked it over and I noticed that it was quite terribly explained and put together... So I revised it.
The Idea of it all.
The setting of the campaign is the MTG universe on the plane of Ravnica. There is some material, that was made by wizards of the coast for D&D 5e, to read up on if you want to be a specific race and see what the setting has to offer and change. (I highly reccomend doing so, it is informational and a fun read to boot. I will link it at the bottom.)
I will summerize what the cmapagin will start to feature and I will explain how I will go about hosting these games shortly. But I will also drop the basic idea for the campaign.
The setting.
the campaign will take place in a time where the living guild pact Jace (A planeswalker who keeps the peace between the 10 guilds of Ravnica) vanishes for an extended period of 10 years. You and other players get caught up in the world of Ravnica and seek out fame and fortune as you see fit, forwarding your own goals along the way.
From the tops of the skyscraping spires of Ravnica's upper class to the forgotten deeps of the acient underground seas. From the centre of City life to the ruins of districts long, almost but not quite, reclaimed by nature. Ravnica is alive, and it is teeming with life.
You will enjoy what the plane of Ravnica has to offer you and exlpore it's every crevice and secret. Tie up loose ends from yours or/and other players backstory, if any, and get embroiled in conflicts not your own. The world of Ravnica has a deep history and there is much that is out of your grasp right now...but perhaps not always.
The Hosting.
How I will host the games is through the medium of Roll20, Discord (For the Voice chat feature and OOC discussion) and D&D beyond (For Character info and general book keeping). I will draw the dungeons and such up IRL (Of which I am quite in my ability to do so) and scan them onto my laptop, which then I will put them onto Roll20 for encounters and scripted fights. I will also grab some images and music to play alongside certain areas to furhter enhance the experience.
The hope.
I personally as the GM would like you to at least cooperate with eachother and have fun, as that's the name of the game, I enjoy drama and encourage it, I enjoy romance and encourage it and I enjoy wholesome connections and I encourage it all... Hopefully we will get around 5-7 or 8 player. So I hope that all of you would at least consider joining in on the fun. Thank you.

And that's more or less it, I've adapted a lovely little bit of a campaign to make it a bit unique and still not out of the world. I will write the story weekly as we go with a little bit of preplanning (As no encounter survives PC's 100%). I'm actually relatively new to being a GM and 5e but I'm pretty confident in my writing and style of RP. I'm a pretty narrative guy. So if any of this doesn't interest you I'm sorry and I hope you find something that does.
As promised the Materials you might need. I'd reccomend checking out the different guilds in the Book "Guildmasters' Guid to Ravnica" and the characters you can make that are in them. (I highly encourage you to do that if you want some interesting dynamics) and the ways new classes change and are introduced.
And the Discord. As of writing this, it's just me on my own. I hope I see some new faces soon. If you have anyquestions DM and I will answer them right away.
