I go by Yarrik here, and I am a giant nerd! Okay, 'giant' is hyperbolic, but that sums things up pretty well.
I have never done Forum based RP, my experience comes from MUSHing for about 20 years (34th B-day in July), so it's something similar to forum RP. I also like to RP in actual Tabletop RPGs when I'm able, and I've actually recently gotten into a Call of Cthulhu campaign at my local game store, looking forward to the second session a few hours from this posting.
What other things to talk about? I play video games, a lot and currently playing Final Fantasy XIV on Excalibur. Love me action and comedy films, and movies that blend those up. Rush Hour is basically the perfect movie in that sense. Comic books, anime, board games, Magic the Gathering, mecha figures. I'm the typical convention goer.
I'm also a cat person. I love me my cats, though I am presently without a cat. I intend to rectify this someday.
I'll be seeing what shenanigans I can get up to on this site, my first character being 'Nevarri Wryss', redheaded pyromancer that is not Chandra Nalaar, dangit, she's not the only pyromancer in fiction.
