It's not a major thing for most people, especially because it's not the end of school exams I have to go through in less than two years time; those actually decide my future.

But I have three science tests coming up, which decide what I can do next year. Me being the idiot I am, I chose one of the hardest combinations (in my school) of subjects to study. Triple Science, Art, Photography and ICT. ICT is pretty chill, but the other three (on top of English, maths and PE.) give me an overload of work which, I do enjoy.

But I find myself struggling when it comes to tests like these.

I have to revise for every one because I want to get the best score. I need at least a pass (75% for all three sciences, 50% for art and 25% for photography) because if I don't I have a high chance of getting kicked off of the course. I don't want to get kicked off of any of them because I love them all, and my parents might kill me. The only problem is I tend to panic a lot, and I have done so again.

When I panic I tend to get sick, physically. My pain in my back increases and my sleeping patterns falter and often my friends and/or family have to remind me to eat and look after myself. I was sick yesterday and got sent home from school because of it, and when that happens I freak even more.

Anybody have any suggestions for...er, maybe ways that I might not panic? Or at least reduce the stress/anxiety. ^^;

Hmm I'm sure there would be plenty of solutions but I will tell you what I think should work(Of course that doesn't mean it will work in 100%)

You said that you love/enjoy those subjects, then I think it's not about motivation.
Besides even if that was the case, know that you're doing it for yourself and your want of learn(I doubt it, although I would be surprised if that was the case), not to accomplish others expectations of you or achieve superficial marks,

so do your best, it doesn't have to be 100% on all tests but know that there're people who would be proud of your success, no matter how big or small it is.

If you're planning type, make a studying plan which you would follow, small steps at time of course, rests in studies and rewards after accomplishing something no matter how small it is.

If you're not planning type like me(Cause all plans I do are either discarded or never accomplished) Well give yourself goal and try accomplishing it.

As for stress/anxiety I think you're trying to predict what would happen in future and consequences of failure which can be disheartening or simply you're over working yourself/not sleeping enough.
Well in that case you try to relax yourself and redirect your thoughts to other matters/things, I don't know listen to music, watch some dumb videos, walk outdoors and refresh yourself. whatever makes you happy but know that can make you lazy if it's prolonged , so you relax yourself and try to work on your situation.

Anyway that's all I had to advice. I'm not great at this but if it helped you then I'm content with it.

I second all this stuff. What a great answer.

Yeah I think music definitely helps and I guess just trying not to focus on the possible outcomes and instead just focus on the task you're doing.

A guy who wrote a book I like, Echert Tolle, says that all anxiety comes from thinking about the future and that the solution is to be in the present moment and he says there's peace to be found in the present moment. It's oversimplified and we all know it's not that easy but the words make a lot of sense to me. Try to enjoy the task at hand and the learning will happen on it's own, I'm thinking. Trust that.

Focus on the process vs the result. If you're doing the process (studying the stuff, etc), the result will take care of itself, usually.
Whenever I have stress, no matter what for I find myself reaching for The Bach Flower remedies. They are plant-based and come in drops or capsules that you should be able to find at a bio or nature store. They help you calm down and be less anxious and they aren’t too expensive. One single drop/capsule usually does the trick for a few hours.

Other than that, mindfulness or regular meditation ^w^
