Ah yeah! Happy Birthday America! Wow, I can't believe it. 
Almost 420 years ago, our country fought a war against the British, to avoid paying taxes, and free ourselves from the ruler of a man-child in a powdered wig, so we can have INDEPENDANCE!
Freeing ourselves from the rule of tyrant king in an ugly powdered wig, to instead be ruled by regular men... In ugly powdered wigs. Until one president said, 'Enough with the wigs!' Then for a new president 400 years later to say, 'Cheeto Colored Toupees are in!'
But in all seriousness, HAPPY INDEPENDANCE DAY EVERYBODY! Here's to how far we've come, in this country!

Hopefully we will truly be able to say that everyone is free, safe and wanted here one day. That will be the true 'independence' day. 💕

I'd save the negativity for tomorrow. Heaven knows I'm overly critical but today is a day for celebrating!

I'd prefer to not be tone/emotion policed.
People are not required to celebrate or be happy today. Many people use this day to spread awareness instead of celebrating. Many people will chose to celebrate once everyone can.
*I* would save the negativity. By all means, if you can demonstrate then do so. I find preaching to the converted leads to nothing.
