So I have a question. My wisdom teeth are coming in and they are kicking my tail, I was wondering if there was a way to get my jaw to stop hurting and bleeding till I can get to the dentist soon. It’s getting to the point where i can barley eat. If anyone has any tips I’d love to hear them! (My stepdad told me to push down on them and that made it worse)

im so sorry buddy! i hope you feel better! try putting ice or a heating pad on the jaw on the outside near where they are coming in. My older brother did this when his wisdom teeth were coming in. if i had mine coming in i would probably know more about what to do but i don't have wisdom teeth yet XD. anyway try that or go to the store and get some medicine and if that doesnt work you might have to go to the dentist
Oh wow, bleeding?! I don't think you should be getting any bleeding with your wisdom teeth coming it at all. I had some pain when mine came in, an ache on one side of my jaw and head. I used a hot wash cloth, held it on my jaw, I also rubbed Orajel on my gums to help. I'd also suggest sucking on some ice cubes.

I definitely wish you hadn't pushed down on them, that is a VERY bad idea, you can really hurt your gums and nerves in them by pushing down on teeth that are coming in. That might be the cause of your bleeding if it started then because as far as I know there isn't usually bleeding when wisdom teeth come in.

Because my wisdom tooth didn't hurt that much coming in and grew in fairly straight I don't need to get it out for a while, but my guess is if there's usual bleeding that you'll need it out quickly. So definitely make that appointment ASAP and if it continues bleeding you may need to go to the hospital.

Ok I’ll do the heating pad and ice, I only did that cause he said it would help stall the teeth hurting but it ain’t doing crap.
Ouch that sounds painful. When my wisdom teeth came out, it was painful, i rinsed my mouth with warm salt water, it helped to stop the pain for a few hours. I don't know if it's scientific or not though lol

If you can, ask about taking paracetamol (Tylenol) and/or ibuprofen (Advil), either separately or together. Always ask your doctor about combining these kinds of OTC painkillers before you do so, but they were the combination my dental surgeon had me on after I had my wisdom teeth extracted and they helped a lot to curb the pain and deal with the irritation. Try to avoid things such as mouthwash as they typically contain irritants, especially the ones that contain alcohol should be avoided for the time being. Salt water rinses are typically used to help keep your mouth clean, but they taste awful and can cause stinging and increase pain.

I hope you can get this taken care of soon, dental pain is quite awful especially when your wisdom teeth are coming in that way. Like others said, get in touch with your dentist if your gums won't stop bleeding from this.

good idea, I didn’t really think about medicine to help out. For the time being I’ll use Advil until I can get anything fixed or till it stops hurting.
A few things that I know have helped me with tooth aches were warm salt water rinses. Swish it around for a few minutes, then spit it out, don't swallow. It'll help keep the areas clean and help reduce infection chances.

Another thing that helped are over the counter analgesics. Ibuprofen or acetaminophen. Cold compresses are a blessing. One thing that I had some surprise luck with, though, was chewing on fresh, crushed cloves of garlic pressed to the areas that hurt. It can be hit or miss, (and it will definitely make your breath stink, so keep some mints handy if you're going out), but it does work. The last thing is clove oil. Rub it into your gums, or soak it into some cotton balls and dab it against the gums/ teeth that are causing pain.

Hopefully you can get in to see a dentist soon, though. :< Sanne's right, dental pain is downright terrible to deal with.
Unfortunately, if they are bothering you, then you need them removed. It will only get worse, especially if they are impacted. I've struggled with mine for years and am finally getting them surgically removed next week as someone in their 30s... so I would not recommend putting it off until they get to that point. Get them done ASAP and save yourself more agony. Also, if they are impacted they can mess up your molars and even cause decay in the third molars where you then need your third molars out as well. They can also push your other teeth forward/make otherwise straight teeth crooked. So if you have straight teeth that can also be a concern. Luckily my other teeth didn't shift but I am having issues with my third molars as well now because of impaction. So, my best advice is to get to a dentist NOW and if the pain is severe rotate between Ibuprofen and acetaminophen. Do not push on them or poke around with them.

Im getting into the dentist in like 2 weeks hopefully, we gotta call em back in a few days about them
the warm salt water thing I definitely recommend, as it is a decent disinfectant. I don't know how well it does with the pain, but if you are still bleeding it is a great way to prevent infection (as long as you spit it out after and don't swallow it).

And something my dad recommended for the pain, is dissolving an aspirin or some other painkiller in a bit of water and swishing it for a little while before spitting it out again. If any of the pain is from exposed nerves it will deliver the painkilling effect directly to them and soothe them for at least a little while.
I feel you buddy. My wisdom teeth are coming out (idk what term to use) and my dentist refused to remove them since i have spaces between my teeth and the wisdom teeth will push them closer.
The bleeding seems unnatural as i havent heard of anyone bleeding, as for the pain, if it gets too much i take some painkillers. I try to avoid using anything so i pretty much just wait until the pain is over so i can eat.
Sorry i wasnt much of a help but wanted you to know i relate you! I hope the hurting stops!!♡

your all good, maybe the eating while it hurts causes it to hurt more.
