My Savior

Injuries and illnesses are an expected part of any trainer’s journey, no matter how careful you are, no matter how much you plan out your day, accidents are bound to happen. Some of these accidents can result in just minor cuts and scrapes that are nothing more than minor inconveniences, but sometimes, these accidents can become more than just minor annoyances. Sometimes, these accidents can leave you stranded in a place you’d rather not be and sometimes, there’s nothing you can do but pray to Arceus and hope somebody will be able to help you. Eventually, someone does arrive to help you and while you’re grateful for the help, you find that you’re feeling something new inside your heart. You soon realize that you’ve fallen in love with your savior, but can’t be sure if you’re really in love with them or if you’re just really happy they saved you. Will you stay behind with them and sort out your confusing feelings or will you simply continue on your day?

The Mentor (Student) and You

>[STUDENT] Today was the day you’d begin your Pokemon journey; sure you’re a bit later than most trainers, but unfortunately, you’re a bit inexperienced and while you’re confident you’ll be able to travel around fine on your own, you desired a bit of help for the journey. Talking with your local Pokemon Professor, they had hooked you up with a fairly experienced trainer to help you get around the region, they’ll be there to help guide you, teach you new techniques, and make sure you’re safe. Things start out great for you and your new mentor, but you soon find yourself falling in love with them. Confused, you’re not even sure if this kind of crush is okay, but it doesn’t seem to matter anymore. All you know is that you’re in love and you’re not sure what to do about it. Will you keep silent on the matter or will you take a risk and tell them?

> [MENTOR] You’ve been traveling around the world for years and have become a fairly decorated Pokemon trainer during that timespan. You’ve collected gym badges, potentially even championship ribbons, maybe some Frontier Symbols, or maybe some Z-Crystals, or something else. You’ve been traveling alone for as long as you can remember, just you and the Pokemon that’s joined you on your adventures. While things have been going great for the past couple years, you’ve been getting a bit lonely. Fortunately for you, things would change completely as the local Pokemon Professor had requested you join a rookie trainer and help them along their journey. Accepting the offer, things go smoothly at first until you soon realize that you’ve fallen in love with the person you’re supposed to be mentoring. Was this kind of relationship okay? You didn’t care, you were in love and confused at what you should do. Will you take a risk and confess or will you hide your secrets?

An Adventure of Love

Adventures and exploration are perhaps the biggest staples of any Pokemon trainer’s journey, well asides from the whole catching and training Pokemon thing, of course. People explore ancient ruins, sprawling forests, vast caves, and just about anything they can find in hopes of catching new Pokemon, finding untold amounts of wealth, discovering the unknown, and so much more. You, however, found something a bit unexpected. You found treasure alright, just not the kind that typically comes in the form of gold or precious gems, rather you had found yourself a fellow adventure, someone you had fallen in love with almost at first sight, and it seemed the feelings were mutual. Seeing that you were both in love with each other, it seemed like it’d be a good idea if you two began traveling together, and so you two begin an Adventure of Love. What kind of relationship will form from here?

Opposites Attract

>[HERO] You’re what they call a goody two shoes, someone who always does the right thing, a hero of the people. You stand up for truth, justice, and all things that are good... okay, maybe you’re not quite that good, but you’re a heroic trainer nonetheless. Over the span of your adventure, you’ve found yourself battling against [villain team] fairly often, you’ve always stood in their way, trying to stop their nefarious evil plans. You’ve battled grunt after grunt, stood your ground against the admins, and even came face to face with the big boss themselves. You’re the hero, you’re supposed to defeat them, but what happens when you finally meet with a villain that makes your heart flutter? The hero isn’t supposed to fall in love with the villain, right? Well, too bad, ‘cause that’s exactly what happened here. You found yourself absolutely enamored with this villain and now, the decision to continue fighting against this villain and your heart or to just give into your heart’s demands and confess to this attractive villain. What will happen from here?

> [VILLAIN] Being a villain is fun, especially when you’re good at it. Since joining [villain team], you’ve been stealing, lying, and cheating for who knows how long. You’ve always stood in the way of the hero, you’ve always been a thorn in their side, you’ve always made a point out of being foolishly stubborn, just your typical villain things. Until one day, you encounter a particularly attractive villain, one that you can’t help but fall in love with. You’re supposed to fight against them, but how can you do that when you’re wanting nothing more than to wrap them in a hug? Will you use your infatuation to your advantage or will you attempt to start an honest relationship with the hero?

The Lovely Challenger/The Infatuated Gym Leader/Trial Captain/Elite 4/Champion

> [CHALLENGER] Like most Pokemon trainers, your goal is to take on the Pokemon League, collect as many gym badges as humanly possible, and cement your place as one of the world’s most elite trainers. Some people have accomplished this goal with relative ease, some are still dragging behind, some are just aimlessly wandering. Regardless, all of them are pursuing the same goal. You soon wander into [gym/trial site/Pokemon League] and soon find yourself face to face with the person that runs the place and unexpectedly, you find yourself falling head over heels for them. You’re just a challenger, they’re a super strong trainer that had made it to the top. Will your relationship work out? Will you be good enough for them? It’s just a one time encounter, so surely it’s just one of those petty crushes, right? You’ll have to stick around to find out.

> [GYM LEADER] A gym leader is perhaps one of the most important people in their respective region, it’s their job to ensure rookie trainers have what it takes to make an impact on the world around them, whether this is a positive or negative impact has yet to be seen, but it’s not in your place to judge. You’re just a stepping stone for these trainers and most of these encounters happen once or twice, sometimes three times, but it’s rare for this to happen. It was a routine you’ve come to expect; meet a new challenger, battle them, and wait for the results. Today was a bit different, you found yourself falling deeply in love with one of your challengers. Confused, you battle like normally, possibly even purposely throwing the match just to see that lovely smile of theirs. This was just supposed to be a one time encounter, but now that you’ve fallen for them, what will you do?

> [TRIAL CAPTAIN] Many trial goers in the Alola region will find themselves pursuing the position of Trial Captain, it’s an honor few have received and those who have received are renowned for their skill. Like a gym leader, many of the encounters with challengers are often just one time encounters, nothing more than that. However, things change when you meet a trial goer that you become absolutely enamored with. You can easily abandon your post to travel with your crush, but unfortunately, you’d risk losing your position because of it. Will you just ignore this potentially unrequited love or will you stubbornly pursue them?

>[ELITE 4] Perhaps one of the most feared Pokemon trainers in any region; they’re called the Elite 4 for a reason, they’re a powerful and amazing group of trainers that serve as the penultimate challenge for trainers who have collected the eight badges. They rarely see their challengers more than once or twice, but like any other person, they’re prone to falling in love. They just so happened to fall in love with one of their challengers, but despite their skill in battle, they’re incapable of making any moves towards them. Will you just take a risk and tell them or will you sit back and keep quiet?

> [CHAMPION] The top of the food chain, the ultimate trainer, renowned worldwide; the position of the Pokemon League Champion is something trainers from all over the world pursue, but very few get lucky enough to sit in the champion’s throne. Your job is to defend your throne, to ensure that the next person who sits there is as strong as you are. Most of these encounters happen once or twice, but sometimes you get that stubborn trainer who just keeps coming, no matter how many times you clobber them. Eventually, with each new encounter, you find yourself falling deeply in love with them. A champion falling in love with a potential champion could easily make for the region’s most powerful couple. Will you successful confess to your crush or will sit back and crush them in battle instead?
