So I finally finished making all my characters and decided it's about time to make a post! A little about me, I love roleplaying. RPGs, faires, cosplaying, you name it. Mostly because my life is fairly uneventful, I like to get away from it for a bit and enjoy myself before going back to the real world. I mostly do fantasy and adventure roleplay since those are the ones I'm the best at and I don't really have a sci-fi character that I can use. I like romance, but I can get pretty cheesy sometimes so I try not to go crazy with it. It usually flows better if I'm RPing with someone who's better at the romancing that I am.
That's me, I'm way more descriptive in my profile but I figured this would work for a first post! I hope to get some great roleplays out of this, since this site is pretty much the first one that pops up when you google "text-based roleplaying". Pleasure to meet you all and I can't wait to get started!

And if you're still not sure about something on the site after checking out the tutorial, feel free to ask questions of the mods and anyone else who offers to help.If you're hankering for some specific kind of RP, we have an awesome Find RP tool that has a bunch of neat filters and stuff you can use to look for particulars. If you just wanna browse, you can go straight to the Looking For RP forum (which you have already done, glad to see you exploring already
)and see if anything there catches your eye, or even post ideas of your own! Or if you just wanna chat for a bit as you decide what kind of characters you want to make, we have a place for Smalltalk too!
And above all...hope you have fun and stick around a while to make a bunch of RP friends! These people being friendly sure helped me decide to stay, too, when I was new!
Heheh, I admit to liking cheesy romances myself. Sometimes they're just what you need, you know? And you have some good characters for it, I skimmed a few, they definitely look interesting.
Oh, also I was curious about one thing. Is your name a reference to the term, Jack of All Trades?

My name is a reference to Jack Of All Trades. I tried a few other variations of it but they didn’t seem right, so I went with this one.
