So while in OOC Chat with an awesome user on here but on discord, I had this idea pop in my head while we were discussing “projects” aka her painting and my costumes, and I thought...if you could bring your OC to life, how would you guys do it?

I would have to say mine would to be making a cosplay out of my OC catriona, two versions actually, hair down and “at home” and everyday. Am I actually going to do this? Yeah, why not? I have time to and yes I’ll eventually post photos because my best friend agreed to do photo shoots with me, yay. How I’ll do it is instead of a MacKenzie my “IRL” version will be a MacGregor because I can only afford one tartan and I want my own, and make her Arisaid with it, plus over dress from the same tartan, and then use my Swiss gown with the Arisaid and purchase a blonde wig that’s about shoulder length and curly for the everyday version.

Now let’s see what anyone else would do and how you would do it, I’m curious to see how you’d do yours, whether it be painting, sketching, cosplay like mine, animation etc.

I would probably knit garments that Pearl would knit, and even use them as reference images for roleplays!

I also actually have a character on RPR who came into existence in real life before hooking up to Server. ;) QT Pi is currently in my living room on top of a DVD rack, guarding the place.

You could probably wear the knitted items in day to day life so they’d be extremely practical
I'd love to eventually make a few 3D models of some of my characters and then get them printed as minis/ mid sized figurines. (Maybe if I could figure it out, make them actually poseable.) Just need to get a bit better at working zbrush (and save for a 3D printer, lol). I mostly draw my characters already, but for certain having actual figurines for my favorite rp characters would be awesome!

You should totally make the figurines and maybe build like one or two of your favorite rp scenes you’ve ever had

I plan on it! Working on a sweater right now, and I promised my friend's daughter a knitted dress. :)
