Hello. I am new at this but I've been roleplaying for 1 year but I noticed there is some people who's more good at RP than me, So I'd like if someone help me get better at this. Additional information; English isn't my first language so don't judge.

Honestly, I dont much believe in people being good or bad at roleplay. I think people just share different styles and perhaps have better spelling/grammar/vocabulary skills. I wouldn't compare really, just improve your skills to suit the kind of roleplayer you'd like to be
English as a second language I know can be hard. I know this French friend of mine.. he started out with poor skills. But over a few years he ended up being rather legendary in my group - He has such beautiful, motivating stories that everyone wanted to roleplay with him! No one even minded his broken English from time to time. It just goes to show.. its about content and your imagination

Hello and welcome to RPR! Don't let English being your second language prevent you from writing stories and writing them with others! There are a lot of people on the site that like to write various types of RP. I hope you're able to make a lot of friends that you can have a lot of fun with.

Don't worry, we're a friendly bunch and do our best to be understanding of people's English level. It's tough to learn a new language, as long as you do your best and try, nobody should be bothering you about your writing.
It might be helpful to put out a Looking for RP ad where you specifically mention you're looking to practice English. You don't have to, but if you do this people who are interested in helping people develop their language skills are more likely to start a game and give you helpful pointers!
Be sure to let people know if you're looking for help fixing the spelling and grammar your writing, or that you just want to write back and forth to get more used to English. There are different ways to learn, if you let your RP partner know what works for you, they can accommodate you better.

If you haven't yet, we recommend browsing the tutorial, it's got a ton of helpful tips and guides for all sorts of different RP-related subjects, from making characters to looking for RP partners--even experienced roleplayers may find things they hadn't thought of, I know I sure did. And if you're still not sure about something on the site after checking out the tutorial, feel free to ask questions of the mods and anyone else who offers to help.
If you're hankering for some specific kind of RP, we have an awesome Find RP tool that has a bunch of neat filters and stuff you can use to look for particulars. If you just wanna browse, you can go straight to the Looking For RP forum and see if anything there catches your eye, or even post ideas of your own!
Or if you just wanna chat for a bit as you decide what kind of characters you want to make, we have a place for Smalltalk too!
And above all...hope you have fun and stick around a while to make a bunch of RP friends! These people being friendly sure helped me decide to stay, too, when I was new!
No need to worry about people judging you, as long as you are straightforward with potential partners like you were here in your introduction, you'll be fine. And I am sure that with continued practice your English will improve, I know a handful of people who have learned English this way from different first languages, and now, most of the time you wouldn't know they don't speak it natively.

First off it's awesome you are trying to get better at RP, that is very admirable. I would suggest looking for RP's in the LFRP forum, I know from experience that all it takes to get better is time and practice.
If you feel comfortable, why don't you tell us a bit about yourself, what are some things you like about RP, what are some of your hobbies, or what is your favorite color?

Hi Jin!! Welcome to RPR! I hope you have fun here! A lot of getting better at roleplay is the same as getting better with writing! It's a lot of reading books and also doing it. Be sure to check out the roleplay forums once you're ready!

You have definitely come to the right place as we have many members are varying writing levels, and you can never go wrong with your type of gusto at wanting to get better. (That's really the most important part of getting better!) As has been suggested above by others, the LFRP forum is probably your best bet to get started. You can browse other people's LFRP's or you can post your own ideas and go fishing with it.
