I assume that most folks know what I mean if I say "It's on the tip of my tongue." There's a word you need, and you know the word. You know you know it, and it's right there, but you can't quite form it. It's just on the edge of your memory, and if you could just touch it, or hear it, or see it, everything would come together again.

So... does anyone get other memories like that? Or other thoughts? Not just a word, but a whole concept or experience that's... right there, just out of reach, so you can't even identify what it is? Like this full impression of something, but there's a wall between you and it.

I don't think it's actually new, but I've been noticing such experiences recently. Like a memory is pressing against me through a thick curtain. I can't tell what it is (and I don't mean it's just one, I'm pretty sure it's different things), what brought it up, if it's a memory of something real or a dream or just an idea of something.

Is any of this making sense? ^^;

I've been experiencing the most vague nausea recently, but I think that's just because I wasn't drinking enough water while I was simultaneously on my period. Great combination for a person with low blood pressure, y'know? ^^; Go drink some water, now. Yes, you, who's reading this. Remind your friends, too.
Nope, not like you describe, but with things I was supposed to do, or items on a grocery list, or something I was about to say, yes.

But with a memory? I don't think I have had that experience. Except maybe when you catch a familiar scent, and it causes an emotional reaction, but you don't exactly know where you remember it from. That still seems different than what you're saying, though.
Actually yes, I have incredibly similar experiences, and most of the time I never find out what it is that's on the tip of my lobe so to speak (brain lobe not ear lobe hehe).

I can really identify with the confusion of, is this a memory, dream, or an idea that either I tucked away for later, or is trying to find the road to sudden inspiration. I can't recall any times I actually remembered or realized what it was, but I feel like it's possible I have? Strangely enough it's kind of a similar feeling trying to remember if I remembered, which is giving a kind of paradoxical brain mirror feeling.

Either way I can identify with what you're feeling. Also, I routinely drink 3-4 liters of 7.4 ph balanced water a day(though some days it's only 1 or 2). It's more expensive than smoking and I pee a lot but man being hydrated makes you feel better!
