Hello! I'm new to forum rp. I have experience rping in chatrooms (~6yrs), World of Warcraft (~4yrs+), and for a short period, Tumblr (~2yrs). I've been intermittently rping since about 11 years old - so, 10 years.
I'm pretty exclusively devoted to character design, and so you'll pretty much only be seeing ocs from me. I have a number of versatile high fantasy, modern fantasy, and rpg fantasy characters. Many of my characters are inspired by WoW, having been made there for rp, but I make a habit of breaking them from that lore to make them unique, stand-alone experiences.
You might also see me using characters originating from Harry Potter, Steven Universe, and Homestuck. As it stands, only the Steven Universe characters are inseparable from it's universe's lore (although I'm open to panuniverse rp with them).
About me, I'm a 21 year old gay and trans man from Florida, US. I mostly do art - as you'll see, most of my characters will have associating character art, all done by yours truly! Most of my characters are LGBT in some way - don't be surprised if you see me using they/them pronouns for someone (I'm unsure of the forum's politics as a whole, so I figured I should point it out).
I'm mentally disabled and struggle with work and taking care of myself, so I fear dropping off or being slow with replies. But as it's said, one misses 100% of the shots they don't take, or something. Just, don't ask "Why even bother if you think you'll just drop everything in a month?" I'm really trying, and that's all.
I'm not much of a writer, but I try my best! Some days are better than others. It seems at the time I'm writing this forum post, it's probably a good writing day :p
As I said, I do have characters within several universes. I'm hoping to meet others with characters who share these universes! I also am open to opening up one or two universes of my own creation. If anyone's interested in those, they fall under the genres of modern fantasy/sci-fi fantasy I believe. They all technically share a universe, but settings between them vary enough to consider them separate. There are even custom species, for those interested in that sort of thing!

I'm positive you'll quickly find lots of great games and fantastic new friends. The RPR community is very active and kind, so don't be afraid to ask questions or talk to people.
When looking for something specific, I suggest LFRP as that will help you to narrow down your search and see the options others have posted in trying to find a game. As well as Find RP which presents you with even more options.
Anyway, thank you for sharing so much about yourself, your life, your RP preferences and all of it, truly amazing! It's always great to see experienced RPers coming into RPR. Happy gaming!

Welcome to RPR, 6ftslug! Just want to reassure you that RPR is very open minded and caters to a wide variety of genders and pronouns by default. We have a nonbinary moderator who prefers they/them pronouns and a moderator who is a trans man. 
I myself am pan and disabled, and I can promise you that all these things are taken very seriously and treated with the utmost care.
I love the art you've uploaded so far! Is there an online gallery where you have a collection of your work?

I didn't even know what nonbinary meant until I started socializing on here (and that's with me being gay lol). You'll notice some people put pronoun preferences on their profile...it's not uncommon to see. This is quite an open and affirming community, in my experience.
Btw, my compliments on your nice, detailed introduction! It's always nice to see when someone gives a thorough intro (at least to me, because I'm very verbose myself!) So, welcome. We're glad to have you!

Aaah thank you! I don't have much of a gallery per se, but I have a toyhouse where I host most of my usable character references, most of which is in this folder. I also try to post everything on my tumblr, here!
