Hello, hello! I've decided that instead of squinting around for some MxM slice of life rp's, I'd just make my own! I've always been a fan of making up plots and playing them out, and since I'm a pretty damn good plot maker (In my own bias opinion), and I was excited to see if anyone would be willing to do something like this with me! Normally I don't post one of these, but I am now, I suppose. I would appreciate if you are a literate roleplayer, and have pretty...advanced (I guess I should say), grammar and writing abilities. I'm not a semi-literate roleplayer. My paragraphs tend to look like book pages when I have enough inspiration. All of my characters are male, because that's what I'm most comfortable with, and I would like for your writing to be legible.
I'm pretty flexible with the things I can roleplay, so if you want it to be dark (self-harm, depression, ect.), I'm more than willing to do it if you have the ability to properly write about those topics. If you use such things as simply a plot device, count me out. I want to use such things a way that seems natural, and not immediately use them as a way for the characters to meet and suddenly it's all better. If you're going to use a big situation (murder, divorce, suicide attempts, ect.), PLEASE be sure to use it properly, and consistently. I'm not saying your characters aren't allowed to get better, but don't make them better two days later all of a sudden. That won't fly well with me.
I'm not really sure what else to say, but I do want to say that while I'm fine with supernatural roleplays in fantasy settings, I want to be able to make up a unique and interesting world for the characters. I've also noticed it's a habit of new writers (and I fall victim to this overwhelmingly often), to either stay in one spot for much too long, or to go to different locations without much context or backlash for the results. If I do something like this and it confused you, or frustrates you, please tell me. I'm learning too, and I'd love to get some constructive criticism!! With that, I think that's all I can think of. Don't worry about plot, I'm fine with making up one based on our characters likes or dislikes! Please Dm me if you're interested, I tend to forget when I make an rp post and don't see these things until it's too late, smh.
