Fireworks across the evening skies. The final rehearsal for last show. The rhythm section rocked the guitars rolled. The lead singer hit every note as the tears flowed. When the band ended we weren't even freinds. Power struggles every set everybody wanting the glory of the spotlight every night. Some overfed egos destroyed the group. Taking all the credit as everything went up in flames. When the band ended we weren't even freinds. After last call all the final shots at each other. Packing up our equipment In silence no farewells or goodbyes. The bars all want a reunion. You can't fix something so broken. So long ago we were so close til everything went up in smoke. When the band ended we weren't even freinds.

When I was down and out. Every evening I was drowning in the bottle. You brought me out of the darkness into the light. You made everything right. You saved me. You walk and talk with me in fallen leaves of autumn. In the freezing wind chills of winter you keep me wanted and loved. You bring me flowers in the spring as we stroll through the pouring rain. In the summertime you and I drink wine by the swimming pool. You saved me. You made everything right in my life. You dried my tears healed my scars and wounds. Hell I'd even become your wife you don't even have to ask. From my woman's heart to your man's soul. You saved me.(to my beloved significant other who deserves sainthood for being my man)

From Plymouth rock to wounded knee. The blood of my ancestors shed on this land. Every treaty a broken lie and promise to every tribe. I'll fight my battles and wars against oppression prejudice racism and now hate crimes. The pipelines you build across my reservation desecrating our burial grounds. Spilling oil on our land and streams. Destroying lives just for currency and greed. I'll fight my battles and wars against oppression prejudice racism now hate crimes. The great spirit teaches us to worship the land river skies stars. As the Amazon rainforest burns. The white man never learns. You have lit a fire inside this Lakota Sioux warrior and her tribe. Last evening at the powwow and in my teepee I made a vow. I'll fight my battles and wars against oppression predjuice racism now hate crimes. Til I'm reunited with my ancestors.

From the sunset to sunrise. You protect me and keep me warm. I used to fight all my battles and wars alone. In the changing leaves of autumn. During a chilly winter powwow when I dance with my ancestors and nation. I'm not alone no more. You made me strong. I belong again. The oppression prejudice racism hate crimes have left their scars and wounds in my flesh blood bone spirit. You have healed them and dried my river of tears. You helped me deal with my fears. You made me strong. I belong again. In the springtime you bring me flowers. You and I walk talk beneath summer thunderstorms. From my heart straight to your soul. I sing your praises revelations songs for you are my inspiration and man. Close my bedroom door I'll take you to the promised land. You made me strong. I belong again.

🙂

Thank you so much. Thanks for your freindship.

In the changing leaves of autumn and the fierce blowing winds of winter. I've been a saint and a sinner. You gave me heaven when I was going through hell. When I was drowning in the bottle. I confessed all my crimes and sins to you. I'll forever be this man's rock and roll angel babe. In the flowers and rains of spring. I've been reborn. In the fury and power of a thunderstorm you talk walk with me in the pouring rain. When I dance with my ancestors nation at powwows and sleep in my teepee. You're by my side. You cured my insomnia and healed me. I'll forever be this man's rock and roll angel babe. When I played my bass in my band. You totally understand me. Tonight look upon my beautiful masterpiece face I'll stand before you in my satin and lace. I'll take you to the promised land in front of my fireplace. In this world and the next. I'll forever be this man's rock and roll angel babe.

Tonight as summer ends and autumn begins. As the thunderstorms of electricity, lightning and thunder boom across the valley sky. I close my eyes and dream of you. In the loneliness of winter I confessed all my crimes and sins to you. In the spring you brought me flowers and walked with me in the rain. You stopped me from drowning in the bottle when all I felt was pain. I close my eyes and dream of you. When I dance with my ancestors and nation at powwows you're there by my side. Tonight I'll romance you with my babydoll champagne candlelight dinner. From my woman's heart to your man's soul. I'll start a fire of love inside of you that'll burn forever from the evening to the dawn. I close my eyes and dream of you.

It's the end of summer and the beginning of autumn. In the fury and power of a thunderstorm. I wonder you saw in me. As we walk and talk in changing falling leaves. You believe in me. In the fierce wind chills of winter I was both a saint and a sinner to you. In the spring you brought me flowers. You accept me with all my addictions strengths and weaknesses. You believe in me. I used to have to face and fight all the oppression prejudice racism hate crimes against me alone. You healed scars and wounds you broke through my heart of stone. And all the walls I built up against the world. If you ever asked me to marry you I would give you heaven for all the hells I fought alone. You believe in me.

Tonight as I play bob Dylan's missipppi. I long to right all the wrongs I've done in this world for I've paid off my crimes and sins. So many times already. I need a shot of love whiskey and truth. I'll lose the evening to find the dawn. With you forever I belong. The deal of the cards fates mysteries that brought us together. I'll reveal all the clues to me in our honeymoon suite. I need a shot of love whiskey and truth. I fight my battles and wars against oppression racism prejudice. You have healed my scars and wounds. I'll be the bride if you'll be groom. Hell yeah I'll say I do. I'll be faithful and loyal to you til my ancestors call me home. I need a shot of love whiskey and truth. (For bob Dylan and my significant other)

It was a cloudless autumn morning.
The day in September the world stopped. In the explosions and fires as the steel melted. As the firefighters and police went in not knowing their fate. They showed their bravery and courage in those hours. It was a cloudless autumn morning. The day in September the world stopped. The fallen are remembered as it all came crashing down. Those who fought back forever memorialized. I pray for the day for all the hate to end and love to begin. As a fallen prophet once sang "imagine" and he paid the price. As I watch the sunrise I recall. It was a cloudless autumn morning. The day in September the world stopped.

As my guitars and harmonicas play past dawn. With the colors of summer a memory and the changing leaves of autumn. I fight my battles and wars in this world. Oppression prejudice racism hate crimes against me a everyday reality. The white man is so blind just doesn't know what injustice means. I'm looking through you. In the wind chills of winter the truth always comes through. In the flowers and rains of spring. From custers last stand to wounded knee. My ancestors blood was shed on this land. The Amazon rainforest burns while the great spirit cries. How many times can you lie? I'm looking through you. In the fury and power of a thunderstorm. You can't right a wrong. After so many shots at me. While you hide behind a cloak of decency. Between you and me it's time for so long good luck goodbye. I'm looking through you.
