Like everyone else, I just joined this site and figured I should introduce myself. I'm a bit shy but hopefully I can push myself to make some great stories!
Back in 2012 is when I started RPing at the young age of 12, on a website called Howrse. I met some great friends through it, and obviously I enjoyed it enough to continue to this day. While fantasy is my favorite genre to partake in, I often do just about any aside from fanfictions, which I shy away from. In the beginning of an RP I can usually bust out a few paragraphs, but I begin to dwindle and usually prefer to stick to just a couple. I personally think too much writing in each of my posts can turn it into a chore, but I greatly respect those that pull it off. That doesn't mean I don't love good story building though!
Anyway, that's enough for now, I hope to start some great RP's and maybe make a few RP friends!

I'm positive you'll quickly find lots of great games and fantastic new friends. The RPR community is very active and kind, so don't be afraid to ask questions or talk to people.
If ever looking for something specific, I suggest LFRP as that will help you to narrow down your search and see the options others have posted in trying to find a game. As well as Find RP which presents you with even more options. Happy gaming!
P.S. There have been raffles, and game going on in Forum Games and Smalltalk where people have been giving away items due to the RPR fundraising event. Wouldn't want you to miss out!

While I personally tend to write quite a bit in most posts, I do agree that roleplaying shouldn't feel like a chore.
It's an escape from the chores of life!
