Heya welcome to RPR! 
I'm positive you'll quickly find lots of great games and fantastic new friends. The RPR community is very active and kind, so don't be afraid to ask questions or talk to people.
If ever looking for something specific, I suggest LFRP as that will help you to narrow down your search and see the options others have posted in trying to find a game. As well as Find RP which presents you with even more options. Happy gaming!
P.S. There have been raffles, and game going on in Forum Games and Smalltalk where people have been giving away items due to the RPR fundraising event. Wouldn't want you to miss out!

You might also wanna check out the Art & Creativity board. Folks can show of their art there, and it's common for artists to set up shop. Some folks who have difficulty choosing or finding what they're after will also just post their requests and hope it works out.
Also, the Help documentation is actually pretty helpful! From local BBCode info to a primer for those looking to try involving dice in RP, from info on widgets to a page about mental health (and for caring for yourself while helping a friend!), and tons of stuff you can only find by searching it, it's a much better resource than most realize, and a lot easier to read than some places.
