I kinda don't want a serious answer to the title?
The first thing you should know about me is that I am involved in, on average 2.5 tabletop roleplays a week. I am blessed with a lot of friends with too much spare time. They are mostly comprised of, in AND out of character, min-maxing munchkins who tear through content at an alarming rate. Keeping them busy is a full time job all its own. So I am constantly, feverishly writing for them.
Here? I think I honestly hope to relax a little. Get a little more comfortable and experiment.
So like, seriously. (I wrote a lot.) If you see anything you wanna act on, there is a message and reply button that I welcome you to take advantage of.
Without supervision or time spent channeled into custom tailoring you all some stories/characters, I will likely be introducing this site to the latest family of characters I am toying with.
It is very much a family in a mafia sense of the word. I imagine them as a loosely connected group of friends and rebels. All of them are intriguers and schemers. I won't say they can all hold their own in a fight, but all of them were written with the expectation to survive a lot of them. I guess they are all available if that is your hope.
I as a writer just let romances/friendships happen. I don't push for em, but I welcome if you desire to make that your goal. Whether they succeed, struggle, or fail. All outcomes are equally valid and interesting in my eyes.
They can take or leave a world filled with low to medium magic blended with an arbitrary collection of technology and sciences. This allows them to hold their own after being plucked out and deposited into a wide range of settings. I also happen to have a love for Science Fantasy.
If you want my list of inspirations? My characters were built for 5th edition DnD, but the world itself has my own brand of cosmic horrors galore, a lot of concepts from Pathfinder, and Final Fantasy magitech contributing to the world's flavor.
Wildbow's web serial Twig, is probably a huge inspiration for the Frays themselves. The fact I am using a character's name and happen to have an orphanage in their corner is little more than amusingly coincidental. The Frays as an organization were designed to operate in a direct response to where society is breaking down, fraying at the seams, and letting injustices/horrors go unnoticed.
The family themselves honestly are more rooted in my masochisitc playthrough of Pathologic 2. But that's another story.

I'm a very whimsical and meandering writer. You'll find I am genuinely interested in doing a little of everything. And I do sincerely mean that. You want me to lock you in a much more responsive Resident Evil 1 style mansion? I'm a DM, player vs world is comfy for me. You want a slice of life between monsters that genuinely dives deep into the played for laughs or sardonic circumstances that let horrors from beyond time and space share an apartment with a cat girl/boy? Challenge accepted.
I am gonna stop there before you actually take me up on these rediculous offers.
Lots of fights, no fights, all of the dice rolling. Really, there are precious few wrong answers with me. The more you give me to work with, the more I can run away with.
Bottom line? I am infinitely more reactive and enabling than I am a driving force that knows what I want. When I see something neat? I will excitedly point and shout.

Many thank yous to one and all. I so far have nothing but good things to say about this site now that I've poked and prodded it a bit.
I kinda just wanted to add that I'm a welcoming sort that doesn't wanna turn away anyone if I can help it. This will inevitably lead to me being swamped as I dunno how to say no to anyone. I'm firmly the sort that is willing to pitch, toss out, and workshop a dozen ideas until we can find a comfortable fit for all involved. The discussion, planning, and creation of characters is often half the fun for me.
I just want to add that it doesn't matter as much to me if you write me 4 sentences or 4 paragraphs. The quality of the ideas, storytelling, and any number of factors can lead to me being equally delighted no matter how much one is comfortable writing.
I am also quite open to anyone messaging me for chatter, discussions, or whatever shenanigans strike your fancy. I'm happy to figure things out. But probably won't get to perusing the forums and other members til later on. Gonna be in response mode for a bit as I work on my profile and characters.

I'm positive you'll quickly find lots of great games and fantastic new friends. The RPR community is very active and kind, so don't be afraid to ask questions or talk to people.
If ever looking for something specific, I suggest LFRP as that will help you to narrow down your search and see the options others have posted in trying to find a game. As well as Find RP which presents you with even more options. Happy gaming!
