Since we have gone over $10k in the bake sale which I estimate happened around midnight September 3/4 my time, which would have been 7AM September 3rd Pacific Board-Home time (Kim Time?), and we have two weeks to go before midnight Kim Time of September 19/20, I'm starting this 'Guess the Total' contest.
The rules are simple. You post the dollar amount you think it will be at Midnight September 19/20th Portland Oregon Time. Whoever is closest to the total amount, either over or under the final number will win an Epic Sundae!

- Posting cutoff time is Midnight September 15/16 Pacific Time (Portland Oregon local RPR/Kim Time).
-We will watch the total from the cutoff for entries and the end of the Bake Sale at Midnight September 19/20 Pacific Time (Portland Oregon local RPR/Kim Time).
- I will make a guess to start off, and if I win, I will give the Epic Sundae to a user of my choice.
I will monitor the posts and will list them in this post. You are free to make adjustments to your guess until your amount is listed here. The total listed will be stamped as your official guess.

Tiebreaker Rules
In the unlikely event the final amount is bracketed by two guesses an equal amount to each side of the final number, then a throw of a 2-sided die will be the tie breaker.
If there is more than one person with the same guess that is in the same situation as the rule above, then the dice will be expanded to accommodate.
An example wold be if one person is a dollar below, and two people are a dollar above, then 1x 6-sided die will be rolled. The die numbers will be assigned to the contestants based on the order of their guesses were submitted. (Earlest gets 1-2, next earliest gets 3-4, latest gets 5-6) etc.

Also may I suggest a rule where you have to let each person have a buffer. Mainly because it would really suck if people make Price is Right style guesses of $13,456 $13,457, $13,458. Maybe a $25-$50 dollar buffer?

Nah, simple rules. If the amount is $13,457, they win and $13,458 & $13,456 don't.
