I’m just copy/pasting some of this from my profile and into since typing it again seems redundant.
Long time tabletop roleplayer and GM here. I also write, so it only makes sense that I would be drawn to a forum such as this.
Preferred genres are: Fantasy (traditional or contemporary), sci-fi with fantasy elements (Ex: Star Wars, Rifts), paranormal (Ex: White wolf), super powers, and multiverse.
I prefer not to be involved in realistic or slice-of-life. I deal with enough reality on a day-to-day basis. And I’m sorry to say that I’m limited in my anime knowledge. Again… old school. My favorite anime series is Slayers from the 90’s and not many are even aware of its existence anymore. I don’t play a lot of video games either. I prefer creating and playing OCs.
My average post is 3 to 5 paragraphs, give or take and depending on the situation. As a player I’m open to freeform, dice, or character sheets as long as it is supplied. Should I run a game in the future, I will likely ask for a character write up.
Other hobbies/talents: Singing, Graphic illustration, image alterations (using Procreate and other apps), camouflaging my warped mind to blend in with society.
If anyone is running a group and needs players that fit any of this, let me know. I enjoy writing characters with a lot of personality and I tend to include humor. I try my best to keep it fun.

Heyo! I run a couple of groups in the medieval-fantasy genre, and new players are always more than welcome. 
It's always awesome to come across players that enjoy adding humor into their posts, too. Both groups are linked on my profile. Eldrenae Academy is a magic college-level establishment that trains young mages. I'd ideally like to bring in another tutor or two, but you'd be welcome to bring in a student if that inspires more muse, or one of each. The pace is laidback, a combat mechanic is in place with a dice roll to keep things fair, and the land's diversity allows many types of characters to join in the fun.
The second group is The Empress, a steampunk airship-adventure group. There is an overarching plot to guide this story forward as the crew fights alongside the future King and Queen, and members can propose side quests as well, keeping things spontaneous. The interest for this has been hit or miss, but it appears to be growing gradually, whereas the Academy is far more active. Anyhow! I have a character that may make an interesting tutor or teacher. She’s too old to be a student. She may fit with the Empress too. I’ll leave you to decide what would work better.
