Hey, there! I'm fairly new to this site, so feel free to correct me if I've done anything incorrectly!

I'm looking for semi-literate/literate partners interested in creating a small roleplay group with me!

The idea is a modern-ish world in where our different characters can explore both it and their relationships with one another. The world they would live in, though quite alike to ours currently, is also inhabited with various mythical beasts, such as dragons, fairies, unicorns, centaurs--whatever you can dream of, really! Some of the beasts are domesticated and kept as prized pets, while others are as sentient as human beings and can work for their living, same as us. Sadly, there are some that are feared and/or hunted down, or completely rejected from this world. And then others, rare and very hard to find as they hide away from society in fear, are hybrids.

This roleplay would feature the different roles humans take in society- such as a grocer, a tattoo artist, or a stay-at-home-mom, but with the twists of these unique beasts and creatures.

I would like this to be a fairly small-sized group in terms of roleplayers (maybe 3-4, tops) but I think that, if anyone would like to, we could each have more than one character in the actual roleplay in order to help get things moving.

The entire idea isn't flushed out to perfection, so feel free to offer more ideas or help me change things around a little bit!

If you're still interested after reading this far, let me list some requirements!

You must be semi-literate/literate.
Put effort into your roleplay, and make it understandable. I'm okay with short replies if you're busy, tired, or struggling with inspiration or motivation, but most of the time I would like replies that are longer than 2 sentences.
You must be 16+.
I don't really feel very comfortable roleplaying with anyone under that age unless they seem mature enough. As there might be some language in this world, I would be more comfortable if you were 16+ so I don't feel bad about one of my more bad-mouthed characters destroying your innocence.
Be mature.
That's simple, right?
No power play.
Just don't.
LGBTQ(+) friendly!
If someone is transphobic or homophobic in any way, they will not be allowed to participate any further. I realize in these sorts of things it's uncommon to find homophobes and transphobes, but I'm not tolerant of that behavior and will not accept it around me.

Before we begin.

Before the roleplay starts, after we've organized the world-building a bit more and all that jazz, I would like for everyone involved to give everyone else a good idea on what characters they're using (background, personality, appearance, pets, job, etc), as well as a little bit about themselves if they are comfortable! I would like to make a connection with you, and not just be roleplay partners, if you catch my drift. Tell me about your day, your pets- whatever is on your mind!

We will most likely be settling everything as a group once we find enough people, yes. However, I am perfectly okay with answering any questions or discussing any details you would like to figure out or know in dms as well!

Higgledy-piggledy i deed Nah, I catch your drift, It can get hard to do things when you're tired and feel like you have to say/do something in the rp despite not really feeling like it.

You've caught my attention, and believe me that isn't always too hard, but I can be picky with my things if you understand what I mean, and have often found myself draw out of a roleplay because of simple mistakes that could've been easily remedied.

I've got.... a cast of characters if you could call it that, not even half of them on the Rpr, so even though some of them may seem bland or unfinished,it just means that I'm tired as heck and can't compute, or am lazy that day and just got frustrated with this thing's nack for reloading when I'm more than half way through or something happening.

I also have some anonymous characters I like a lot because that way I can just... say what Iwant or write what I want per se, since I usually feel the pressure of keeping up appearances despite never being outright mean or rude.

Anyways, what I'm saying is, that I'm interested and wish to be able to join, if not, that's alright, and I don't guarantee that I'll be able ti write all the time since I get depressive and am currently half sick so I can try but I'd probably end up speaking gibberish like now. I'm tryina seem consise and eloquent but instead seeming scatterbrained so Imma just.... Yeet myself out before this message gets five pages long? I'm not sure.

I write in 3rd person, I don't usually give sheets on chars but instead describe them as I go and other things, Some of my characters (My most interesting to me) deal with depressive behaviours and thoughts and other heavy topics, so I hope that's alright with you.

I can do multiple chars, but if I do more than... 4? I'll 'check in' on them at different intervals and they'll be doing different things, because not everything stops when we leave them alone, and not everything revolves around the characters dammit.

I am since monday officially 16 years of age, THANK THE LORD, Because all the dammed best roleplayers always said, "16+ people or if mature enough more rules will be aplies" And GAH, I cannot stress how annoying it was. I don't want a watered down version of someone's writing, and sorry if I make someone uncomfortable, But I cannot stand that, maybe I'll understand someday. But not this year.

I'm well aware that real life things aren't like disney, and that shoot happens, and that people curse, and bad stuff happens, so as long as you don't treat me like I'm a child, because if I can handle hearing mad fast spanish cursing I can stand english cursing. So don't worry about me being a little babby about things, I won't, I curse myself so that's fine with me. I'm ok with gore, and a LOT of other stuff. So there.

Hopefully it's not TOO Long. Probably is. Sorry. Welp. This way I know why I'll be turned down. Yay.

(*Note: I can and probably will give info just expect it to fluctuate between 'eh' and 'what in the hell am I looking at?' kinda things sometimes, and that my weird keyboard has all the letters SUPER close together, so any typos I have, will either come from:

A- I don't know how it's written and I'm banging my head against the wall

or

B- Blame it on the close words. It'll make an N all of a sudden an H and I'll only notice when I read it over or it's posted and I'll wish the earth to eat me if I can't edit it.

I have numerous characters as well, I just don't have the time to create their pages so they're usually just kept in my mind instead of out in public.

Happy late birthday! The only reason that I was cautious on age is that I am a leader/moderator of a discord rp server that has a lot of younger members, and I feel a sense of responsibility for their welfare and making the server an innocent place for them to enjoy. I won't look down on you by any means, nor treat you with anything less than the respect you deserve as a capable human being. I'm only a year older than you, afterall.

When it comes to heavier, darker subjects, there are a few restrictions with me as I have several bad triggers, and I don't want them to infect my roleplay, which is something I do to escape those things. So, just communicate with me on what these subjects are, and I'm sure we can work things out while keeping everyone comfortable.

I only have one OC who actually curses, and compared to reality his language is actually pretty tame. I don't mind other people cursing in any form or fashion.

They sound nice already lol. I have most of my oc's (Exept the one's who are innocent/don't come across as any that'd curse) know cursing/curse themselves, but I don't usually go overboard with it.

Don't worry, I can wait, though just for my and others heads sake, maybe, just as a suggestion, we could make several diffirent dm's, one for the Character Chat-ish (So that we can go back in case we forget something), the Ooc one (For obvious reasons) and The IC one (Where all the coffee spills )

i was just viewing the community page when i stumbled upon your forum, its caught my interest for one as i like these types of rp's but there hard to find now-a-days. i'm currently 16 and 5 months so i think i qualify for this for my age. *changing the subject*

soo... as i was reading the setting/plot it amused me a bit, don't know why tho, but i would happily join if that's fine with you. i currently have only shapeshifters to rp with if that's fine?

That's a wonderful idea!! I like it a lot and we'll definitely be doing that. I feel like it would make the process much easier.

That is fine! In this universe, shapeshifters could definitely exist.

Could I, by the way, be permitted to use something I call a Hellhound, but rather a shapeshifter/werebeast like concept, where they can appear as humans, humanoids, and ferals for their form?

I apologize! The other replies were so long I must've skipped by yours on accident! That, and I'm a college student so my time spent on this site is in short bursts and I tend to rush.
