There are many songs that seem to grab at my heart, but only a hand full has such intense feeling that they make my eyes water whenever I listen to them. Here are a few that do that to me...

Currently, I have a song that relates to my specific situation (regarding my mental health) and I listen to it and just...
But there is one specific song that I cannot listen to. Ever. And it comes on the radio often. Every time I hear it, it... triggers something inside of me. I suffer from PTSD and certain aspects of this song bring me back to a specific point in my life.

I guess Zombie by The Cranberries. And maybe Senbonzakura by Hatsune Miku.... Kind of a weird one to get teary over, I know. But it's really beautiful and has some nice memories that go with it.

I always thought the intro to this song sounded like the jeapordy theme, so much so that despite my love for nightwish, I just couldn't listen to it. My best friend used to tease me over it, intentionally humming the beginning like jeapordy and laughing at my dismay. He didn't hear the jeapordy theme in it, you see, and had a strong love for the song.
I didnt listen to the song much, but one day my album on spotify ended and it selected a song similar to what I was listening to prior at random. The song it chose was Shudder Before the Beautiful by Nightwish, the first song on the album Endless Forms Most Beautiful which happened to be the album Élan was on. I happened to really like Shudder Before the Beautiful so I quickly switched from that one random song to the album it was on, deciding to check out the entire thing. Song 3 comes along and guess what....it's Élan.
I'm not honestly sure what it was in that moment but I started to hear the song differently, I was suddenly able to hear past the Alex Trebek parody and heard the actual song for the first time. I thought to myself, 'man I have to tell my best friend! He's so going to say he told me so!'
I finished out the album and got to the end, and decided then I would go ahead and listen to it again. Nothing obsessive about that right? It was just at the end of the intro that I got the call. It was from my wife, and we had been separated for 2 years at that time. I didnt really want to talk to her but she hadn't called in more than a year, and something told me I had to take that call....so I answered....sadly, she told me my best friend was dead.
I listened to that album the rest of the 200 mile journey home, and after the funeral there was months I couldn't listen to it at all without becoming too emotional to drive. In fact the entire album began reminding me of that moment, and for a while I had to listen to it only at key times. I've since been able to reach a point I can listen to it without losing control, but Élan, and to a lesser extent the album Endless Forms most Beautiful, will always remind me of my best friend, and the saddest 200 miles I've ever driven.

I can't listen to Johnny Cash's version of Hurt by Nine Inch Nails without crying. I don't like Nine Inch Nails' version, but I love Johnny Cash's version just because of how he recorded it as a tribute to his wife.
Faith Divides Us Death Unites Us by Paradise Lost
I don't listen to this band, however I have listened to few of their songs like this one. This song in particular made me cry several times not only because of how sad and emotional it is but also because of the issues I have that the song associated me with for some reason. And the music video matches the song very well.

Actually no song made me cry, although there are songs which awake feelings in me, like Josh Groban songs(Alejate, You Raise me up and Gira Con me)

My Lover’s Gone by Dido seems to get me when I listen to it. It is because of a past relationship when I was a teenager. The relationship was toxic, but at the time it hurt, and this song still raises some of that pain I felt when I hear it.

And I had watched the movie Walk the Line about them so that contributes too. Lol Sigh.
Dido makes good music. I always think of her song White Flag when I think of her.
Holes in the Floor of Heaven - I had (at the time) unfortunately just lost my great grandmother when I first heard this song, and every time I hear it, it makes me cry. Doesn't hurt as much now, but now it helps me to remember all the fond memories of things me and my brother did when we'd visit her, like picking wild blueberries or making home made donuts.
Not All Heroes Wear Capes - My dad has and still is always there for me. Got into a car accident in New York and he dropped everything and drove 5 hours to come make sure I was okay. My personal superman. This song, first time I heard it, I was crying like a four year old. It says everything about him that I feel I can't always express with words, sometimes. The way I will always see him, no matter how old I get. (and I'm pretty sure when I finally get the chance to get married, this is going to be my choice for father/ daughter dance).

Can I Exist - MISSIO provides both a strong, emotional story while watching, and a personable one for me with aspects of the lyrics I can relate to. Definitely gets me every time.
What’s your favourite colour? from the Bee and Puppycat soundtrack always makes me cry. It doesn’t have any lyrics but it has the same effect as a song from a Pixar movie.

Another song... well, two songs that missed my initial list is Daylight Again by Crosby Stills & Nash. Live it can follow right into Find the Cost of Freedom, or each stands alone, and sometimes the guys do it the other way around. Both these songs, either together or on their own, wets my eyes every time, and when Crosby Stills and Nash go into A cappella in the middle of Find The Cost of Freedon, my throat gets tight and I have to hang on to keep from breaking down.
And dang it... youtube ran this next which really gut punches me... Ohio by Neil Young.
