So I have yahoo for e-mail, and when I went to check said e-mail...I found an interesting front page headline.
London Bridge Hero Uses 5ft Narwhal Tusk To Confront Terrorist
I saw that and went: WHAT?!
I mean, really. How often do you come across someone who just happens to have a frigging Narwhal tusk with them, to do something like this?!

I mean that whole thing was pretty big news over here... 'Narwhal' was trending on twitter once the fact of the attack itself had been dealt with and had done the rounds.
Let's not forget about the fire extinguisher guy either. Or the guy who went in unarmed.

Agreed: Thoughts out to the victims.
I can say yes, I've read/written stories as crazy as this. Working as a journalist, my everyday is a mix of weird and heartbreaking/soul crushing stories.
Not so much the title but the article itself. I recently read an article about 3 Indiana court judges who got suspended. I don't think I can link or so much about it here because it was a truly wild and not family friendly story but you can look it up. (Its the one with the cool club, white castle, and fighting.)

You are the first person I know, who is a journalist. I hope you are careful when on the job, Somnom. I hear that sometimes even journalist's run into problems on the job.
