Does anyone else do it? My mom has put me in charge of it this year for my little sister.


I forgot to do it last night so he's running a bit late today...

This is actually something people in Canada most definitely do. I never heard of it until I came to Canada, and I think it's one of the funniest and cutest things. Please post more on where he shows up next! I'd love to see the progression. If others are doing this too, I'd love to see where people find their elves.

Although I had seen the elf before, I had no idea it had a purpose until I was in my 20s and the internet told me.

I actually have a elf on the shelf for 3 years now , me and my family got it three years from Satan .

I am eager to see what ways you set up your elf on the shelf. This looks so cute!

I came downstairs and just set this up so my sister sees it before she gets up....

We know she'll definitely find this one funny because she plays a lot of Roblox, and is *always* asking my mom for robux. My mom never buys her 800, only 400. So

My family never did Elf on the Shelf, but last year an aunt gifted me the doll and book insisting my six-year-old would be into it. She was. My girl adores the tradition, she cried when I told her the elf was leaving after Christmas. I had fun moving it through the month, but her favorite Paranormal Elftivity was the time it was found lounging on a plate of crumbled half-eaten brownies.

I am very much enjoying these stories.
