"Here you go, [insert name]. Just the way you like it."

The scent of the coffee immediately invaded your senses. You closed your eyes to enjoy the short blissful feeling that only coffee can give you. You let out a relieved sigh and turned your chair around to face her. "Thank you so much. You're a lifesaver, Angie."

Angela let out a small giggle, "Not a problem, [insert name]. Besides, you're the hardest worker out of all of us. You deserve it. But I'm warning you, this won't be a regular thing. If you want me to be your personal barista, you better start paying me mister." You chuckled at this and took a quick sip of the coffee. "Noted." The joking tone did not go unnoticed by Angela. She shook her head and walked away, probably to start telling Peter off for barely doing any work.

You turned back around to the folders haphazardly laid out around the desk and the mess of pictures, newspaper clippings, and different papers pinned to his large bulletin board. Despite all the chaos that made the workspace look like it was swallowed by a tornado and spat out after it left a bad taste in its mouth, it all made perfect sense to you. You got one of the folders scanned it and took another sip of your coffee.

The folder had the picture of the Pontus Museum along with a bit of information about it. A few more pictures were in the folder of multiple artifacts and antiques collected throughout history that were stolen just recently. One particular antique caught your eye - a quaint little jewelry box with covered by a fancy floral pale blue pattern with gold accents and a bright green flower crafted out of gems acting as its lock. Just as you're about to look over and scan the information written about the antique, you get taken out of your thoughts by one of your colleagues. "Uh, [insert name]. I think you should take a look at this."

You followed Peter, the one that called you over, to the room that was two doors down from your office. Walking in to your other colleagues all surrounding a table in the middle, you took a look to see what all the fuss is about, you see the same jewelry box that you were intrigued by only minutes before.

Your eyes widened by only a fraction that went unnoticed by everyone else. You walk towards the table and turn to everyone. "Where did this come from?"

"I found it at the front desk when I walked in. I checked our cams for a clue but nothing came up. There wasn't even footage of the time I walked in. It's like it was erased but that's impossible. There isn't any sign of hacking or even opening the files. There should be some kind of footprint but there's nothing. But that's the only footage missing, a minute before that the box isn't there. It's like the box just appeared seconds before I opened the door. But-" You cut off Matthew before he can continue rambling, something he does often when he's confused or scared or in this case both. "Matt, did you touch the box?"

"What? No, of course not. I had Celine get it with gloves and look for any fingerprints, stray hairs, anything at all but even there we got nothing. It's like it was made to be squeaky clean." He shook his head frantically like he was being accused of murder. You let out a sigh and run any possible scenario in your head that would make sense. Angela cuts the silence, "I went out and asked the convenience store cashier nearby if he saw anything or heard engine or something but nothing either. We're coming up on dead ends here, guys. You know, since Celine already checked for fingerprints, maybe we should open it? Maybe there's a clue inside." You all considered Angela's suggestion and probably all agreed with it but no one made the move to approach the box. Angela glanced in your direction causing you to sigh, knowing if you didn't do it no one would. You picked the box up, looking it over but your eyes lock on the gem flower in the middle. You lightly press it and a soft click resounds in the room but the box doesn't open.

Celine speaks up, "Is it not gon-" A splitting headache grabs your attention. You feel yourself going to your knees and your surroundings fading into a dull blur around you before everything turns white and before you know it the headache's gone just as it came. You squeeze your eyes trying to wrap your head around what just happened. You suddenly feel a little nauseous which isn't normal. You open your eyes to a bright light - to the vast clear blue sky. "What the hell..."

It was just night seconds ago and you were in the agency. You then realize that the nausea you were feeling before was water. And as if your comprehension was going at the speed of a snail, something suddenly clicks and everything comes crashing down on you. You're on a boat in the middle of the ocean in bright daylight, tied against a pole. With your colleagues in the same position, Matt being at your left and holding the jewelry box in his hands. Also not forgetting the fact that there's a crowd of men around you that look like cosplayers.

One of the men walk up to you, he had white greying hair and towered over all of you like a behemoth. "Alright, if you all don't state your businesses on our ship, better yet how in the bloody hell you managed to snuck on the Black Pleione, things aren't going to be pretty for ya. Ain't that right, lads?" Choruses from his companions were let out, they all sounded like they were impersonating pirates. A loud thud against wood cut through the chorus of the crowd and a woman walked through them, parting them like the sea. She had black hair and bright enchanting forest green eyes. The same exact green as the flower on the jewelry box.

Her eyes lock onto the mentioned box in Matthew's hands and her eyes narrow. "Captain, we found these stowawa-" The giant man started to explain when a sharp slash rung in air and within seconds the woman was in front of Matthew with a blade at his throat. "Where did you get that box, lad?" Her smooth velvet voice slowly enunciating each word, intensifying the rage that burned in her eyes. You internally slapped yourself to snap out of it, Matthew has a blade against his neck and is panicking. There must be something you could do.
