My character is a dark humanoid creature, the subject of a local urban legend/ghost story, and your character is a ghost hunter. Your character goes to look for my character, and finds her- when my character saves them from another supernatural creature. It turns out that there is a world of urban legend creatures hidden from the human reality, and very few of them are able to cross over unless they are looked for. Your character has been wounded, so my character takes them in and helps nurse them back to health, but in doing so, learns that they have been infected with an ancient virus that slowly turns a human into a supernatural creature. My character decides to stay with your character, to help them through their transition and new life, able to go between the human reality and the supernatural reality through certain places in the world called “transition points.”
