Folayve

Folayve is a world of magic and low native technology. Despite this, characters from all manner of origin are welcome and possible, either through magic, mundane, or sci-fi means. Characters may be native to the world, teleported through a wormhole, summoned in, arrive by boat or by air, or just about any method you can make up to excuse their arrival on the islands.

The land itself is a cluster of mountainous terrain and varied environments. Chilly and warm oceans, deserts, lush forests, and jungles abound, as well as a small volcano and a bizarre ancient woodland that seems more magical than natural. It is wild and unsettled, even the ruins of any former societies having been absorbed and reclaimed by the very landscape of Folayve.

Folayve itself is a small continent, a series of islands, really, that is far removed from any other landmass on its planet. Most of the world it exists on does not know of it, and has carried on without touching the place. The few people who have been there either consider it cursed, or mysteriously forget it exists once they escape the glittering fog that surrounds it. Even fewer settle there, and eventually they find themselves the victim of strange occurrences that challenge their reality and possibly their survival.
