Sanctuary Hills is a flowery little haven in the hills of Equestria, named by its citizens for the quiet comfort it provides. For as long as unicorns, pegasi, and earth ponies have lived in peace in Equestria, so too have the ponies of Sanctuary Hills. Though word often reaches them of the threats made to their kingdom, such as the return of Nightmare Moon, Discord, Lord Tirek, and so on, this town has seen very little strife.
