Rules

  • 1. Be respectful and understanding. we all have the same general goal here, so any ooc issues should be talked out. People can't know that they are doing something that you think is wrong if you never tell them. no matter how 'obvious' you might think your hinting.
    2. Remember that ic is NOT ooc. people can rp as bad guys, or guys who are thought to be bad, but that doesn't make them bad.
    3. If your theory on how something should work, and someone elses theory on how it should work disagree, (example, trickster candies, which have a number of potential explanations on how they work) even with something as complex as an entire idea on the 'science' behind heart, rage, and hope, with heart being the 'chemistry' of the soul, and rage being the 'physics', while hope is that unexplainable 'other' unaccountable force, try and accommodate for whatever ideas someone else might have. no matter how much you've invested into thinking that the 'perfect' way things should work is how they should work, you should accept that others might have ideas that they believe in just as much as you do. I would advise starting up a post to try and work out any important details if they happen to be critically important, and hopefully a mutual idea of the world can be created...
    4. tieing into the third 'rule advice', if you think someone is wrong about something, and that their character had just done something that you think they couldn't have done, simply notify them in an ooc post. there is a good chance that a word was misplaced, or that they had forgotten something. we are all human. its ok to make mistakes.
    5. please check in on any rp's that you are actively in at least once a week. Some people might like to try and keep the exacts of the events that have happened to their characters in an orderly timeline, and only have their characters be able to be in 1 place at a time, so that their characters can have a much more organic and accurate development. holding off on replying for extended periods of time while in the middle of an rp can freeze up a character, making them unable to do anything since they were in the middle of something, and they can't just have the rest of the events be assumed. you never know when something 'plot important' might happen, that would change the life of a character.
6.general good rp stuff... try and avoid autoing, and the like, though understand that while a person should never be able to control another person's character, a person's character does have the potential to end up in a position of control over another character... this, is NOT autoing, but if such an event does end up happening, make sure that it is exactly what would have happened given the nature of the characters, and the events which have taken place. do not do something like that just because 'you' can. again, if you have issue with something someone is doing, or if you are uncomfortable about something, please contact them ooc and explain your concerns.
    7. NSFW is not to be out in the open. any NSFW stuff is to take place only with the consent of the people controlling their characters, and it should be rp'd out privately... https://rpnow.net/ this is a potential place for NSFW to happen, and you can post a link to it in the rp you are performing ONLY if you are sure to include NSFW somewhere in its url, AND if you are sure to put note above the link in your post that it is NSFW. The only, ONLY reason why NSFW is being permitted here is because we're constructing worlds and realities here. and anything from forming friends and foes, to building homes and breaking buildings, to any potential thing that can happen, can happen. reality itself does not enforce many other laws than those of physics. and even then, there are a number of ways to break those laws. just, BE SURE TO NOT PUT IT DIRECTLY ON THE REPOSITORY.
8.if you happen to have any critical complaints, or if an issue can't seem to be properly resolved ooc, then please be willing to message me about it, and i will try my best to resolve the situation.
    9. if an rp is closed, please respect that.
