Suspicious Disappearance of Tuphon Cyberneticist
Local Tuphon cybernetics clinic Gadhavi Cybernetics recently shut down again amidst a series of setbacks, including a shooting just months prior. The clinic was reportedly abandoned several weeks ago, although rent was paid in advance and all outstanding appointments were cancelled, showing premeditation in their disappearance. There is no investigation ongoing, and no foul-play is currently suspected, authorities say.
This is not the first time Doctor Gadhavi, known to be an eccentric, has closed their clinic for an extended length of time. A similar incident occurred last cycle, where the clinic was reportedly shut down with little notice, on a "one week vacation" only to open again well over a month later.
Their disappearance follows a similar disappearance of Doctor Gregory Weiss, wanted for questioning in possible connection with the Bakesale Massacre that occurred at the end-of-the-cycle San Copernick Charity Gala. Doctor Gadhavi was also present during the Gala several months back, and is a known associate of Doctor Weiss. Although Doctor Gadhavi was not witnessed attending the Bakesale, they were suspiciously absent from their talk on Nano-Filament Replacement using AI Nanite Building Tech they were set to give at the same time.
Attendees reported seeing the Doctor leave the board of lecturers after taking a phonecall, moments after the Bakesale Massacre is known to have occurred. However, Doctor Gadhavi has a known reputation for 'skipping out' on scheduled lectures and talks in the past, and is known as a bit of a reclusive eccentric. They are not currently wanted for questioning.
However their disappearance does raise suspicions, in lieu of Doctor Weiss' similar disappearance from his own home on First Fall.
