This group is yet another group dedicated to Hunters, however my aim is to create a universe separate from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Supernatural and whatever other TV shows, books, films or whatever people usually use for their settings.
The main group of Hunters in this setting calls itself The Society, but that group name was already taken. Its original name at the time it was founded circa 3800 BCE was The Order of The Nine, but supernatural creatures generally call them The Watchers.
The Society is a global organisation of psychics, magic-users and your average Badass Normal Hunter, whose purpose is to prevent the wider public discovering the existence of ghosts, vampires, werewolves, angels, demons and whatever else. Oh, and stopping all of these creatures wiping out Humanity. That's important too.
I'll add more detailed details on the forums later, but for now all you need to know is that your characters can either be supernatural creatures The Society works with or against, Society operatives or Freelance Hunters who don't belong to The Society and either don't know about them or ignore them. -
