  • Oraclos is a region composed of a few islands. One larger mainland, two large islands, and two small islands. The majority of people live on the mainland or the eastern island, Janome. The southern three islands are a Region called Miraclos and although they are listed as a separate region, they are a territory of Oraclos.

The kingdom is ruled by King Priam Tyndareus who is also head of the Pokemon League. In the past, battles were held as rituals to please the gods with a blessing as the grand reward, but violence started to break out as a result of this prize. When Priam became king, he changed the rules to mirror those of other regions. If a trainer collects all eight badges, defeats the elite four, and overcomes the champions, they receive a trophy, a title, and a monetary reward (with the option to receive the money any way you wish, including as a scholarship).

The League is open to anyone at any age, but you must have a combination of eight gym badges to challenge the elite four. Challengers can battle the elite four and the champions once a year.

    The Gym Leaders are:

Arbor Badge - Nikki - Petal Grove (Temple Gaium)
Swarm Badge - Bosque - Roaming
Palus Badge - Elliot - Huntingden (Temple Dourmire)
Torrent Badge - Kai - Suiren (Temple Deluge)
Caldera Badge - Rue - Bronceside (Mt. Kaala Temple Kaala)
Nimbus Badge - Beni - Constance (Temple Zephrum)
Hope Badge - Cinder - Roaming
Spark Badge - Julian - Charoth (Temple Eo)
Aura Badge - Kiro - Duela (King's Circle - Temple Nexus)

After collecting the badges by the deadline, the challenger may attempt to battle the Elite Four, and if they succeed they can challenge the Champions. If they fail, they can challenge them again as many times as necessary over that week, but after that, their badges become invalid and they have to collect them all again and challenge them next year. Any number of people can win and will earn the same prize.

Trainers from outside of Oraclos will have to register at the castle in Duela. Registrants under the age of 18 must have a notarized letter of consent from a parent or guardian. If they do not already have a starting pokemon, they must contact Professor Silva to receive one. Those already living in Oraclos must also register for the challenge at the castle with the same rules applied to them. From there, the challengers may challenge any gym leader they wish in any order.

    As for Pokemon Contests:

The rules for pokemon contests are similar to to the challenge: collect the five ribbons by the deadline to compete in the Grand Festival located in Duela

    The five ribbons are:

Stalwart Ribbon - Excellence in raising Tough pokemon (Wintergarten)
Radiant Ribbon - Excellence in raising Beautiful pokemon (Mizuiro)
Mystique Ribbon - Excellence in raising Cool pokemon (Martillo d'Oro)
Precious Ribbon - Excellence in raising Cute pokemon (Halcyon)
Inspired Ribbon - Excellence in raising Clever pokemon (Emeraude)

If you lose in the grand festival, your ribbons become invalid and you have to collect the new ones to challenge them the following year.
