You're the forager, yes. But I don't want you adding dead to your list of fancy titles.

"There we go." Cassandra put in the final stick that held the tent up. "Looks good, right?"

Varian glanced at the tent, "Yeah." He smiled.
"It's not a caravan, but it'll work for now." Cassandra put away the mallet into her bag.

She stood up, stretched and dusted off her clothes. "Alright, so, nightfall is arriving soon, that means more monsters are going to be wandering about. So you should stay here at base camp while I gather firewood for the fire." Cassandra told him. "What?!" Varian frowned. "I'm the forager, not you!" He said disappointed.

"You're the forager, yes. But I don't want you adding dead to your list of fancy titles." Cassandra snickered. "Aw com'on." He squinted his eyes at her. Cassandra walked off, Varian still insisting on following her. Cassandra knew this, so she continued talking. "Alchemist.. Unofficially a First Place winner in the Corona Science Expo.. Engineer.." Cassandra listed off titles.

"Royal-" Varian went to say, "-Pain. Yeah that too." Cassandra interrupted.
Varian glared and stuttered, "H-Hey! I'm not even royalty! And I'm not a pain!" He looked away.

"We can get rid of that title if you stop following me and let me go find firewood." She winked, stopping to turn around to face him. Varian sighed. "Fine." He crossed his arms. "I'll be waiting here for you."

Cassandra nodded, "Good. Stay safe. Weapons are in my bag if you need them."
She then continued walking, heading off to find firewood.

Varian scurried back to the camp, a bit angry that he couldn't go with.
But, at least once this night was over, and the next morning..

The adventure truly begun.

You see, Varian and Cassandra were close to the first riddle in this adventure. And they had to solve it to continue on-wards. If they didn't, well. They'd be stuck until they do solve it, or another comes to help them. And these two were too stubborn to let anyone help them, probably.
