How an image for even a character can be put in, first of all requires for it to be a url. More information can be found in this char regarding how to post an image in the chat.

I have gone to the website below to upload an image.

In that website, you should see a section that shows what is conveyed in the image.
After I upload the image, I will get a BBCode link from the site. I copied the full link and post it here as what is conveyed below. I used the picture of another character of mine, an Elder Scrolls OC named Renthir Akir, a lilmothiit dancer from Akavir choosing the life of entertainment over war.
There was no need for me to convert the image file into another format as it does what we need it to. Show the picture on the forum here. Use whatever method you feel most comfortable with.
