    OOC GUIDELINES

The Out of Character (OOC) Guidelines are rules and regulations that a roleplayer must adhere to when they are not in an active roleplay. This means any behavior that is not the actions of your characters, and are the actions of yourselves.

1] You MUST respect all administrators and staff. This means no back talking, no attitude, nothing that could even make the administrators twitch an eyelid. The admins are here to HELP you. Showing them disrespect or harassing them gives them the full right to eject or banish you, depending on the situation and the severity of the harassment and misbehavior.

2] Being that we have recently changed our Dream Rating to AOC, more adult and mature situations are allowed. However, we do ask that you leave any sexual contact in private areas. Not only is it rather awkward for anyone to walk into such things, but it keeps the embarrassment of being caught with your pants down (In a literal sense) to a minimum!

Rape and Child Pornography is absolutely, VEHEMENTLY prohibited on the dream map. ANYONE who is found to have done this, will be immediately banished permanently, and reported to the guardians, regardless of the other party's consent. If you do not agree with this, please go to FurN. It's not allowed. At all.

Anything that could be considered extremely taboo or 'fetish-like', will not be allowed in public on the map. You can do it in private or in your whispers, because I have no right to control what you do there. Just be wary that while others may think it is fine, there will be people that will disagree with it.

3] There will be no tolerance of any derogatory terms or behavior towards gender, race, orientation, lifestyle, or intelligence. This is the internet, you have NO idea what that person has gone through, what troubles they've had to endure, or what other things that they've had to deal with in their lives. This also includes Elitist behavior. I honestly can't think of anything to describe it other than thinking that your crap doesn't stink, and that you are the best in the world and are entitled to everything that it has to offer. This also includes being ornery and inhospitable 'just because you can.' That will be shot down very quickly.

4] While constructive criticism is allowed towards the admins and the Rah, if you have a 'problem' with the way something is being done, do NOT post it publicly. Take it up with that particular administrator, or report it to the Rah. I am more than willing to take advice, in fact, I welcome it, but if you are going to whisper me and my admins things like 'Ugh semi-paragraph rp requirement is so stupid, you're a douchebag for enstating it, blah blah blah go screw yourself,' consider yourself banned. My admins do not have to respond to such stupid and baseless comments.

5] No Drama. At all, No 'he said, she said' crap, no whispering behind people's back, no insulting people, no nothing. I can't stand that, because it makes everyone look like children. Intelligent conversation isn't that hard, please utilize it.

    IC GUIDELINES

In-Character (IC) Guidelines are the rules that you must adhere to while you are roleplaying, and while you are actively participating in plotline roleplay.

1] No Godmoding: This includes playing your character as if he is invincible, as if he can not be touched, and as if he is the 'BEST EVER LYKE OMG'. This includes giving him abilities that are exceedingly and extremely over powered, thus is why the character application is necessary.

2] No Autohitting. This is automatically posting in your initial action that your attack automatically struck your opponent and had done damage. This is a big nono, and is also extremely irritating. Please make sure you give your opponent an adequate way to react and defend himself.

3] No Auto dodging. This includes constantly dodging or taking hits, and not taking much damage, or no damage at all. This also ties into god-moding, being that your character is nearly invincible, or extremely fast and agile. Give your opponent the benefit of the doubt, learn when to take a hit, and when to adequately dodge.

4] Please remember that your In Character actions, will constitute In Character consequences. This means, that if your character kills someone, they are going to be apprehended and taken in almost immediately by the City or Elite Guard that are patrolling the city streets. They are NOT weak. They are not easy targets. If you don't like the outcome of something your character did, then it's a lesson to better judge your actions.

    CHARACTER CREATION GUIDELINES

Character Creation Guidelines are the rules and regulations that you must follow while creating a character in the Aedas Continuity. Failure to follow these rules will result in your character being rejected.

1] Not all characters can be all powerful, or the BEST EVAR!!!!11!!!!11eleven!!!1! It is just not possible, and it is frankly rather annoying when people make their characters supremely powerful, and unable to get any better because they already are the best. It is poor character creation, and doesn't leave ANY real roleplay to be done.

2] There will be NO Earthly cultures allowed in the dream. At all. No japanese demon characters, no ninja, no Exiled Ronin, no super kawaii desu geisha thing. No. It is not allowed. No Nekomimi, oni, kitsune, etc. Not only do they not fit in the Aedas Continuity (because it is not at all located on Earth), but they are usually played overpowered and inaccurate to what they actually are in the actual culture.

3] YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST FILL OUT A CHARACTER APPLICATION, AND YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST BE APPROVED BEFORE MOVING INTO ANY MAIN PLOT IN THE CONTINUITY. Social roleplay is allowed, and even encouraged, as it gives us an idea of your roleplay skills and how well you play your character's abilities, however, you will not be able to roleplay any major plot development. Also note that those who have not created a forum account or a character application at the end of a week (7 day) period, they will be barred from roleplaying until it is done.

4] While there is not necessarily a limit to an amount of characters one player can have, please keep it reasonable. One thing Albrecht and I can NOT stand is when someone makes a thousand characters and leaves peoples' plots hanging because they don't log into them regularly.
  • A Small Welcome!

The Aedas Chronicles is a series of stories that is being written by Foedus Aecigulai (Pen Name), and is hopefully to be published in the year 2012.

This website will contain all of the information on the continuity and the chronicles, such as species, deities, Key cities, and even a map drawn by Foedus. For the roleplay side of it, in which Foedus decided to open up with the first dream of Helmstrass, rules and guidelines will be posted, and can be found under the roleplay section.

The latest roleplay dream *in furcadia* dream is Tayvas Kingdom, run by Valech Udvarde.

We are currently looking for ACTIVE roleplayers to take up shopkeeping jobs. Such jobs will also warrent a house for said owner. They must roleplay in the dream for a week, be approved for roleplay via application, and be relatively active in said dream.
