Welcome to the Valley of Aram, a group dedicated to roleplay in a city-state named Aram.
Set around the 1600's, this is a high fantasy setting with heavy influence from Pakistani and Indian cultures. You can expect to see characters of many kinds, including beastfolk (anthros), elves, humans, and plenty of creatures of mythical origin. As this can also be considered a 'nexus' style setting, you can certainly expect to see some anarchisms here and there.
Roleplay takes place over forums and in Discord; currently, guests are welcome to hop in Discord and explore the setting with members. Please be sure to read through the bulk of the setting information and cultural information before jumping in!

Hello, hello, helloooo!! Guess what?! We're comin' BACK!
What does this mean? Well:
-You are free to RP in this setting if you're a member
- most of the setting info is still perfectly accurate and mainly just needs art updating or some minor wording updates.
-If you're a guest and not a member yet, good news, I've set up a Discord where guests are welcome. Come meet people, see if this is somewhere you'd want to stay!
-Some rules and other things may be being reassessed, so keep your eyes peeled.
-Annnnd finally, the group is no longer super secret hidden - but IS still unlisted. We'll be officially opening applications again once we've decided the group can be listed once more.
