Faster than Light space travel- Developed in 2485, a device planted in the aft sections of larger ships. It literally tears a hole in the fabric of space-time to bridge two locations with a wormhole. While not making travel instantaneous, it does dramatically cut down on travel time turning thousands of light years into just a few days.
Plasma shells- Self contained chunks of low melting point metal designed for energy weapons. They offer superior firepower over most projectile weapons. However, they are expensive to manufacture, being able to buy three projectile guns for one shell, they are extremely rare, and extremely expensive.
Energy Weapons- Rare and expensive, they use advanced methods to superheat the low melting metal loaded into the firing chamber. They then use magnetic rings in order to fire the superheated plasma at high speed toward the enemies, burning through most metals and flesh.

However a new form of projectile propellant was invented in 3016 that propelled projectiles faster than ever thought possible. Added with new composites for bullets (Tungsten/Brass/Solid Mercury) Projectile weapons have become more fearsome than ever thought possible.
