The kingdoms and countries created have all been placed in what's known as High Fantasy. The High Fantasy setting is known for its grand scale of worlds, fun mysteries and epic adventures!

In this setting it is not uncommon to be living in a world where many races and cultures exist, each with a very rich and long history with ample of legends for adventurers to be inspired by to carve their own. With many cultures come many ways of living. Many philosophies of life, many deities and even more conflicts. Some lands are inhospitable while others are economic juggernauts.

These differences make for a colorful world filled with opportunity! And you can add to it! Do you have an idea for a country or kingdom? Pitch it in with the rest of us, and we'll make sure your vision becomes part of this world.

The Expanse is what the inhabitants call of the mapped world. It is one big massive landscape for the most part, surrounded by what is known as the Shrouded Sea, where other continents lie. However, visits from outsiders are quite rare as the Shrouded Sea is known to have a thick fog hanging about it for the most part of a year. Only when the mist disappears do outsiders come into the Expanse to trade with the inhabitants their otherworldly goods and immigrants.

The Expanse's nature is as diverse as its people! To north one would find mostly arid deserts and rocky mountainscapes. Down the Southern Reaches lie the most fertile lands and most island nations are scattered throughout there as well. The East is riddled with patches of marshlands and extremely thick dark forests and jungles. And finally, the West is the coldest area of the Expanse. The Westlands are mostly frozen wastelands and mountains where only the most rugged survive.

With its rich amount of races and equally rich history, The Expanse is thé place to be for adventure, uncovering treasure and political intrigue.
