"The wicked flee when no man pursueth."
By 1899, the age of outlaws and gunslingers was nearing an end. America was becoming a land of law and order. A handful of gangs remained, but their time was merely bought, and they were being hunted down and destroyed by law and bounty hunters alike.
But one such gang remained, clinging to its ideals and fleeing from one end of the compass to the next. A band of thieves, of whom the world didn't want no more. A posse of men and women and children alike, each sickly and hungry in their own way, ever riding towards a mirage in the wastes.
The Heartlands is a group roleplay set upon the world and premise of Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption 2, with niches and opportunities available for all flavours of original characters.
Events of The Heartlands will be played out through small groups or 1x1s, with major events being organised and executed through larger IC groups. There is something to suit every writer's preferences, so come on in! Your characters are free to ride out with each other, or even orchestrate their own raids and robberies.
